The colored names you see in chat indicate different roles within the RustEZ community. These colors help players quickly recognize staff, supporters, and community members.
Blue — Community Member
Standard player role. Everyone starts here.
Orange — VIP Member
Community member with VIP status and supporter perks.
Pink — Subscriber
Community member with active subscription benefits.
Green — Staff
RustEZ administrators. Follow their instructions during events or disputes.
Role colors are cosmetic and help with identification. They do not change gameplay rules or protections outside of official staff responsibilities.
If you need admin assistance, please click on #help in our Discord and tag your server. An admin will help you when they can. Valid server tags include the following:

Due to the growing threat of bots using the "giveaway" scheme to steal Steam accounts and personal information, we've decided to suspend our giveaways for the foreseeable future.
If a Discord user messages you claiming you won a prize or were entered into a giveaway, ignore it. These are scam bots attempting to steal Steam and Discord accounts.
All official RustEZ giveaways are hosted publicly in #giveaways. Winners are contacted directly by staff; we will never ask you to visit external links or provide account credentials.
If you receive a scam message from someone on the server, report it in #help so staff can remove it quickly.
Protect yourself: never click links from users you don’t fully trust. Even from trusted users, double-check URLs and search them first to ensure they aren’t flagged as scams.
All RustEZ event news, updates, and important announcements are posted in the #announcements channel.
This includes server wipes, special events, giveaways, patch notes, maintenance notices, and community updates. If something important is happening, it will always be posted there first. We recommend enabling notifications for this channel so you never miss critical updates.
We currently don’t offer in-game perks for Discord Nitro boosts, but we truly appreciate every boost we receive.
RustEZ servers are expensive to operate and maintain at the performance level our community expects. Rather than redirecting funds away from server upkeep, we choose to invest directly into infrastructure, hardware, and stability to keep gameplay smooth and reliable for everyone.

If you completed #welcome → Become Verified, but your Discord role is not showing, your account likely needs to be relinked. Follow the steps below to fully reset and sync your Discord connection.
Relinking your Discord account

2) If you haven't already, sign in and proceed to the next step
3) Now click Link your Discord account and log in to your Discord account
