took all heli loot despite me doing half the damage

earlier this morning i was taking heli from my base and i got half the hits off of heli and after it was downed i went over to sewer branch to see two players already there, one did also half the damage on heli when the crates were no longer on fire i decided to peek and see how we can share the loot while taking nothing. both of these players took all the loot despite me doing half the damage. the first player took a m249 and other contents of the box while doing no damage and ran off.  is there anything that can be done about this?
