Dewey's first warning came while i was investigating a lag base complaint they had made regarding their neighbors base.  Upon investigating, i found dewey had placed and aimed upwards of a dozen searchlights at their neighbors base, and was in the process of planting hundreds of berry bushes immediately surrounding the base they made a complaint about.  Dewey claimed they were "just farming".  A warning was sent notifying them that player and base griefing was against the server rules and that they should type /rules in chat to bring up and become familiar with the server rules.  

Tonight, Dewey asked me to help move them because they were stuck.  I notified them that admins do not assist with normal gameplay and that they would need to f1 kill and return to collect their things.  After they killed their player, they were going on in chat about how they were stuck in a compound and needed to get out, so i went to the base Dewey had gotten stuck in and found that Dewey had laddered onto another players base and entered their compound.  A warning was sent notifying dewey that griefing, including twigging onto another players base is against the rules, at which point they began arguing that they were "just testing a game mechanic" 

While waiting for dewey to return so i could return their items from within the base without them having to re-enter, they immediately laddered back onto the base instead of asking for help, just seconds after being warned not to ladder onto other players bases.  

At this time it was decided a ban would be issued due to their refusal to follow the server rules, and their continued negative impact to our community.
