I think finding the right upkeep balance would be the hardest thing to do. Like others said, i do not have a lot of time to play during a wipe (been really busy lately) and my base is kept up by regularly login. I do that so when i can play in the weekend, i'm able to continue and not start over each day.. We'd just have to find a nice balance.
