Moo-Viper X US Survival I-16 (Bottom of grid between the train tracks) Features auto activating defenses with breach alarm and a control room to deactivate defenses and unlock storage rooms. Unfortunately a key feature of this build are the auto turrets guarding the entry catwalk and storage rooms which could not be installed due to a bug on US Survival. As a result the build is incomplete. It is my hope that I may revisit this structure once the issue is resolved to install the turrets to the control circuit and arm them appropriately. Electrical Systems in this build operate from a series of control circuits in order to function properly. Main power inputs are marked with a red, yellow, and blue wire. These are the only connection where power needs to be attached.
-
Is anyone else having issues with auto turrets? On US Survival they cant be connected to power, cant be opened to add a gun or ammo, cant be configured or accessed in any way. Once you leave the area they despawn completely. My build is heavily designed around them and I have been waiting all week for them to be fixed and no luck so far.
-
I assume wiring that is installed will remain? It wont just be like wireless power going to every electrical item in the base? so motion sensors and things will work?

There seems to be an issue with Automatic Turrets glitching out and turning invisible. Once this happens, they become unresponsive and stop functioning. If you have power connected to them, turning power off then on will make them reappear usually, but they will remain frozen and unable to be interacted with. Not sure if this is an issue related to the server or a gift from Facepunch, but the issue was occurring before yesterday's server crashes and I first noticed it over a week ago.

I have a few questions about the event build. Im asking here rather than Dm in case others may be wondering the same thing. Will players be able to plant twig and rope ladders on these structures like in actual pvp, or will a TC block this from happening? If the TC does not block twig and ladders, is there some way to block this so as to force players through an intended path? Will skins transfer over or will all doors and other items appear as a default appearance? Should we place crates in various locations to signify where loot crates are intended to appear within the structure? I understand that the bases will be powered by the server so will not need a power source. If electronics are used in various setups, should a battery still be in place to show where main power should connect to the circuit? Thanks in advance for any info that can be provided.

I think you may have misunderstood my post, not sure what you mean about a disagreement with a server admin. Our server was experiencing severe issues with crashes, and we were asked by admin to remove any excess builds in order to help with stability.
-
Given the recent issues on US Survival and the request my admin to remove any excess builds, how should we handle this event? I was in the process of building mine when the issues began and am now unsure if I should complete mine or hold off. Is it possibly to get an extension of the event end date so we have time to build something once issues on Survival are resolved?

It appears the /Sil command is acting out of sorts with a couple of the signs. Display is backwards on the 'Two Sided Hanging Sign'. It also seems to render as an improper size on the 'Double Sign Post', while the "Single Sign Post' doesn't work at all. The others seem to work fine. Large sign is for reference to show how oversized the image is on the double sign post.

Any word yet on when the tours will take place?

As it stand now Pure is a fun and unique server that stands apart from other pve servers. If it's stripped down to a generic pve server it will be no different than dozens of other pve servers, and that would be a sad end for such a wonderful server and great community. Adding fun things to do mid and end wipe would seem an effective way to keep people around, like player hosted events or destructible bases that could be attacked by others as an example. Imagine a player built base that has a crate deep inside it containing some valuable items. The builders then garrison the base with hostile npcs and have a setting on the TC to make it so attacking players could damage the structure and fight their way in to the treasure box. You could even have an option on the TC to activate pvp within its radius so players could both attack and defend the structure. A special event TC could be used for these purposes with a player only being able to produce a single TC of this type at a time, and having a greatly reduced radius in order to prevent griefing. Even having the Bradley IFV street patrols occur earlier in the wipe perhaps with increasing frequency could add to the action mid and late wipe. In order to prevent it from negatively impacting players who dont wish to get involved in such a thing, the tank could could be set to only be aggressive towards players that fire upon it or get too close. Maybe even handle it like the attack helicopter so it only attacks people if they have a weapon equipped and armor on.

I have been making that mall for over a year, its the main reason I play and the number of customers I get makes it clear my store is well liked by players. It's not possible to scale it down with the mess that is trying to sell skinned items. If they would make it so you could sell one pair of pants and the buyer could choose which of my skins the pants had that would allow me to reduce the number of machines quite a bit, as is i need all those machines. Even so the amount of crafting materials it takes to keep everything stocked still takes a huge amount of time to gather and room to store it. Having to spend hours a day grinding resources just to keep my base up is an added burden I simply don't have time for and won't enjoy, and if I come up short one day or happen to miss a few days for whatever reason its all gone.
-
I run a very large vendor mall and that is my main focus and enjoyment when playing. This requires a large base to house all the storage for materials, the pumpjack, farms, refineries and all that. The grind to sustain this is massive already, having to add another grind just to keep my base from vanishing would be a huge blow to my enjoyment and likely be the end of The Viper Pit vendor mall.

The Twig Citadel of Doom was a success and the lvl 3 Patrol Helicopter met it's end. Congratulations to out brave warriors! Black H@wk, Dragon, KR6SSY, Moo-Viper X, Omnipotent, shagster, Velma, Yourinmykillcount? Special Thanks to Cheese, KR6SSY and shagster for the excellent screenshots. The Mighty Twig Citadel of Doomâ„¢ as seen from the TwigCam. Constructed entirely of twig with metal window embrasures. Interior shot of the glorious twig. Battle shots from TwigCam, showing the lvl3 Patrol Heli trying its best. After shots of the mighty Twig Citadel of Doomâ„¢ still standing! Interior shots of several fighters trapped in the honeycomb of twig. All the gaps filled and its's ready for action again!

Server restart appears to have fixed this issue, the /sil command is working fine now.
-
Mine did this a few days ago. Teammate and I decided my game was out of sync since my location on my screen was different than on his screen, and my body was nowhere near where heli fell.

Im not sure if this is a bug or if its intended, nor if its server related or a facepunch screwup but none of diving gear can be added to the Industrial Conveyors. When typing "diving" into the menu it comes up blank. These items were available last wipe and I had a box the items were sorted into. The Diving gear does still show up on for vendors, just not conveyors.

This would be worth it just for the novelty of seeing a horse coming down on a parachute. It should have a steady stream of turds falling out of it for the sake of realism.
