  1. I know I have been throwing a little more than my two cents here so ill keep it brief. The vote we just had is for things that are not pure to the vanilla game. If you implement those changes, you are literally just turning this server into another variant of the Survival servers and resembles less of a "pure" server. If these decisions were made to reduce entities on the server to improve performance, I can at least understand that logic. Asking to buff power I can see on the basis of reducing entities, but nerfing horses will only encourage people to keep more horses and increasing vendor stock only encourages farms and the entities that come with them to be larger than what would be appropriate on a normal vanilla server. So what if horses poop at a normal rate? People already excessively farm flowers and sell them. I like the idea of upkeep, but if this other stuff is implemented into the server, I really don't know if this server is for me then.
  2. I know you have a server to run and support, and this stuff does not come free. Perhaps some of the things you could sell on a truly pure vanilla server would be map voting, early map previews, building your own mod that mimics the Rust+ app who people are alerted to when heli enters the map, bradley enters the map, searching vending machines for items. There are definitely ways to monitize and earn revenue that other Vanilla servers allow. Perhaps you can add your own information based mods that although they give an information advantage, it is still up to the player to actually go and physically gather the resource. Those kinds of paid add ins would be consistent with what current Vanilla allows.
  3. I agree, it is just odd how both Pure and Pure + have elements that enhance it above a vanilla level. One server should be simple current day vanilla minus the PvP aspects. The other should have the enhancements.
  4. Throwing my two cents in as someone who played Vanilla servers previously and recently played the Survival server, but never played the original Pure server. When I see the name Pure in a PVE server, my first impression is a server that mimics Vanilla minus the raiding, PVP, and theft. Personally the things I would change are: 1. remove the mod to the pumpjack so it accepts diesel and the output mimics vanilla. The current game with boatbuilding required more fuel, way more fuel. I am not saying it is impossible but in Vanilla, this is a legit method for using your diesel. 2. allow airdrops at excav like you could in Vanilla. If I am sizing it up correctly, you have to have a minimum of 10 diesel in the machine to call an airdrop? Why is it set to 10 instead of 5 like Vanilla? 3. restore the loot table on airdrops to normal vanilla. I understand that airdrops are something you could purchase in VIP and there is always the problem of allowing someone to purchase a bunch and have a lot of guns early game. With that said, airdrops are a vital way for players to obtain low level guns in the game. By nerfing this, the avenue for finding a Thompson or a SAR becomes much more difficult vs a normal vanilla server. If anything, I would ask that the loot table of airdrops at least receive a slight buff. The current loot table is the equivalent of cracking barrels on the side of the road. Otherwise, I love the server. Frankly, if those are the worst things I have to say, I would say you guys are doing a great job. Thank You! P.S. already love the events on the server. Allows me to get my bloodlust from my old PVP days out of the way while enjoying a chill server experience. Since decay seems to be a contention point, my two cents is that decay is a good thing. It is a far more fair mechanism for ensuring that people who choose prime real estate are actually putting in the work for it and using it. I really dislike the concept of your base will be gone if you don't log in for X amount of days model. Sometimes life creeps up on all of us all and we need to take a short pause from the game. That is why a lot of us are playing PVE and not PVP, we don't have the time to recover from some no lifer who raids us at 4am but we still want to enjoy the game. If you know there are variables in your life, then you will balance the size of your base with your ability to farm and upkeep it. Farming and upkeep are a current part of the Vanilla. No upkeep just encourages people to build endlessly on the map. Sure they have to farm the initial build cost, but for a month long wipe, the upkeep will be far more expensive than the initial build cost.
  5. Hello, I woke up this morning to my farm not pumping any water. After disconnecting and reconnecting everything, nothing seemed to solve the problem and I removed and rebuilt the entire water system. I isolated the problem to my Fluid Switches and Pumps. Even the powered ones were accepting water, but not sending any water out. This bug started sometime in the past 24 hours.
  6. I used to be the tea farmer for a 30 man clan on a Vanilla Monthly server. I had 60 planters in my farm and within a week and a half of the wipe, I had already farmed enough of everything to last the full month if the team kept going the full month. The amount of planters some people have on this server is just wild and unnecessary. I think a limit is proper to help the performance of the server. 50 would be way more than enough planters and would be a more than reasonable limit in my opinion.
