Hi team,
I’m a regular player on your Scourge server and I love the vibe, but the complete lack of block/entity limits is starting to cause serious performance problems.
Right now players are able to build extremely large, heavily honeycombed bases 2. This quickly pushes the server where Rust starts lagging hard — FPS drops, rubberbanding, delayed loot spawns, and sometimes even crashes during events.
On PVE there’s no raiding to naturally cull these mega-bases, so the problem only gets worse over wipe. Almost every well-performing PVE server uses one of the following plugins to keep things smooth:
-Entity Limit (uMod)
-Limit Entities (Codefling)
-Entity Control
Even a moderate limit per Tool Cupboard (or per player) would make a massive difference without killing the “build whatever you want” freedom that PVE players enjoy.
Would it be possible to add a sensible block/entity limit? I’d be happy to help test different values or suggest good starting configs if that helps.
