Buildings all vanished

I went to bed last night with my TC's fully stocked and all saying they had plenty of resources in them to keep them going, however I logged on this morning to find that not only was my main base where I was sleeping in (I woke up dead on a beach) was destroyed, but my helicopter tower and my shop were also destroyed, I wish I could get an answer as to why this happened as I have spent a lot of hours trying to build it all up and frankly this is really really disheartening. I am playing on EU Scorge.
