Door closer placement obstructs use of Ladder Hatches

Searched door closer hatch, no results, so here it is.

If you place one of the lootable Door Closers on a Ladder Hatch, a white box is placed in a similar fashion to other doors, but it goes to the the middle of the hatch, where the hatch is, and it's solid so it prevents player passage. It does close the door for you, at least!

Same occurs with triangle hatches.
