  • Quarry and PJ Fuel Bug

When trying to take or leave LGF in quarries and PJ, it disappears and reappears. They can also not be started.

I should be generating 6 crude, and I am receiving 2 crude and 3 LGF. You cannot put any more fuel in. I am able to personally turn them off and on.

Quarry is also acting weird, it is showing half the inventory slots, you can clear what is in there and open it back up and its the normal amount of slots. Very strange behavior.

I picked up and replaced my pj ~7am est (maybe about an hour before this bug report). seems to have fixed whatever issue occurred, presumably at the time of the server restart? (~6am, if there was one today)

I did not touch my quarry at that time and it is still borked as of now. Replacing pjs is easy, but quarries can be a pain so will wait for admin input first to make sure it's not something that's going to keep recurring intermittently/daily

But Quarry Problem as I stated earlier still has not been resolved...  Can Not re-fill fuel and production rate has been severely  cut... Zero High Qual and Zero Metal Ore.. Looks like it producing at lvl1 rate on a Lvl6 Quarry

It looks like the problem occurred again after the latest server restart. You may have the problem isolated and are working on a fix, but I'll give a bunch of details just in case it helps any.

    PJ Bugged Behavior (Lvl 8):

    • Both pipes and their storage adapters were missing
    • Conveyor filters remained the same
    • Was still running and consuming LGF at normal rate but was outputting both Crude Oil and LGF

    Screen Recording of the behavior:

Steps Taken to Get PJ Running:

    • Picked up and re-placed the PJ
    • I was able to pipe the original LGF conveyor > PJ but it didn't transfer after connecting. I had to pick up the conveyor, re-place it, and pipe it to get it working.
    • Piping the PJ > original Crude Oil worked without needing to re-place the conveyor

    Quarry Bugged Behavior (Lvl 10):

    • Both pipes were connected, but the LGF conveyor > Quarry pipe was not transferring
    • Conveyor filters remained the same
    • Was producing at lower rate and was not producing any metal or sulfur ore
    • Didn't look like the quarry was consuming any LGF. While the LGF number in the hopper appeared to stay the same, it was lower than what I set the conveyor max to.
    • When checking the Quarry stats, it said it was a lvl 10 quarry and showed that it was no longer producing metal or sulfur ore

    Screen Recording of the behavior:

Steps taken to Get Quarry Running:

    • Picked up and re-placed the quarry
    • I was able to pipe the original LGF conveyor > Quarry but it didn't transfer after connecting. I had to pick up the conveyor, re-place it, and pipe it to get it working.
    • I was able to pipe the Quarry > original Ore/Stone conveyor but it didn't transfer after connecting. I had to pick up the conveyor, re-place it, and pipe it to get it working.
    • Quarry was producing the normal amount of Stone, Sulfur, Metal, HQM again

I also screen recorded the re-placing of the PJ and quarry and can provide that if desired. Thanks for all that you do!

After server restart, a few people stated that either adaptors were missing and/or they needed to replace their storage adapters on the PJs and Quarries. Some reports of needed to repipe the whole system. But after replacing/repiping everything seemed to work as normal.

I checked my adapters/connections, and was not affected, seemed to be a hit or miss problem.

Also, there was not a server restart on Saturday (3/11) morning, and there were no reports of any issues with pumpjacks and quarries.
