  • Redundant Car protections

Players are unable to enter cars drivers seats despite knowing the codelock codes. They can only mount them after placing a codelock themselves. Removing the codelock altogether does nothing to change that.

Players can access the passenger seat, but they get stuck if they use X to attempt to switch seats.

This forms a problem for the players that roleplay as a Car dealership, and the players wishing to buy cars. It's a lot of hassle to be able to access cars this way. Knowing the code should allow access to the drivers seat as well.

    Hi Rohan,

I've seen this behaviour on [AU] Survival and the primary contributing factor was that the player who originally placed the code-lock on the vehicle is not the same player who is reporting they are unable to access the driver seat.

The underlying chassis appears to retain which player placed a code-lock on it and prevents others from accessing the vehicle.
