  • SAM site range extended to 2+ grids

SAM sites have had a range buff and now engage at a further distance.
I believe this may have been adjusted to accomidate the intercept of MLRS rockets in PvP.

From this new distance you don't even hear or see them coming until its too late.
Hopefully this can be adjusted so you can see what is firing at you before its too late.

Please refer to image for a rough comparison between old and new.

Today. it appeared as though all of these invisible SAM sites disappeared. I was able to fly around the Launch Site as I normally do.

Can confirm that this is still occurring on EU Survival. Assumed it was also fixed on this server, and got blow out of the sky by about 50 rockets. It was awesome.

Again, that is EU not AU Survival it is still occurring.
