  • Server restart caused loss of material

Just after midnight ( eastern ) I serviced my pumpjack and quarry, the then server crashed.  I lost 60k lgf, and 10k crude.  I also lost 17k metal and sulfur ore and 1.5k hqm from the quarry.

    This is a major setback

Did those resources not return to where they were 10 minutes prior? My Quarry and PJ still had their outputs intact, but my PJ was observed out of fuel shortly after crash, I thought I had some in it but not certain.

No, I head literally just pulled the materials out if the pumpjack and quarry, and started smelting.  When I logged back into the server after the crash, the hopper was empty of the materials, and the furnaces had the results from the previous batch.

Typically, items are where they were previously based on the length of the rollback, which is typically 30 minutes. We do not reimburse items lost as a result of game issues, including rollbacks, as it'd be impossible to reimburse everyone affected.

I will be looking into the cause of the crash and making changes if needed to ensure 100% uptime.
