Vending Machine got emptied at once and the payment is nowhere to be found

I put somewhere around 20-30K low grade fuel into a vending machine. Within minutes someone drove by, stopped at the shop and kept driving soon after. As I went to check the shop was completely empty - no payment whatsoever. Doors were locked, no way anyone could've entered. The vending machine was facing the right way as well. There was well enough space for payment inside the vending machine's storage, I checked everywhere around the machine and outside as well and I could not find the scrap :c RIP 5K scrap
