VIP recycler not working for me

Normally I have the command bound to a macro key, but even if I type in /rec into chat my personal recycler does not come up. Restarting Rust, Steam & computer didn't fix it.

My wife has VIP as well and her recycler is working fine.

Game suddenly dropped to less than 10 FPS. I logged out of Rust. When I logged back in (apart from an unexplained death and all my stuff gone) my VIP personal recycler is working again.
