After the wipe

Newbie, only started playing Rust a month ago.

So I hear the server is going to be wiped Thursday? Might be a good idea to specify that in the server info (right now it says "Never wipe unless we have to", nothing about wiping the first Thursday of every month). I was building a huge resort-like structure, my sons are gonna be so pissed...  lol

Anywho, got a couple of questions :
 

1. Do we keep the BPs we've learned or do we start over from scratch on tech trees?
2. What happens the day before? All gloves are off? The Purge??

Personally I plan on rocketing the crap out of my base and recording it so I can show my boys

Never wipe unless we have to = All servers have to wipe when Facepunch rolls out the update.  Typically it is first Thursday of each month.

You will need to download an update to your client when it is released. If you are on our Discord, updates, news and the likes will be posted in #announcements.

Everything wipes, including everything you built and own, plus everything you have learned (blueprints /tech trees).  On the modded servers (Survival & Scourge) you will retain your net worth (in game RP) and skill levels reset every 3 wipes.

If admins for your server are online / available prior to the wipe, they will typically provide some pre-wipe shenanigans for players to have fun while waiting for the update.

Adding to that, on every log in page (pictured) it says "wipes when forced" which is what Aurora described. 

There is no purge like some servers as a lot of people are still doing last minute things. Adding to networth, trying a new build for the next wipe, conversating, etc.

Edit: You can however have people authorize on your TC's or vice versa and demolish things that way. We just did that to one of our admins base today.
