Pump Jack decay?

Will a purchased and placed pump jack withstand the tides or will it have issues?

I bought an extra pumpjack to place one in the "neighborhood," for people to use. But does it need TC / building priv. or will it survive simple being placed?

Hello! If you're playing on a Pure server, there is no decay enabled so a pumpjack will be just fine
