Caught someone stealing from my base

Came back from bandit and saw someone jump off my roof and run into the desert. I chased them down but they had a good lead on me. They ditched everything into a bush and ran off. I wasn't able to find anything yet. I did shot the person once hoping that it would be caught on the logs. Hope you can help!
