Apartment / Hotel

We been toying with the idea of building Apartments / Hotels on the next wipe. Probably 4-6 apartments. Just wondering how much interest there might be in such. Also what things would you want to see available.

We already figured each room will have furnaces, grills, storage , bed etc. Not sure if we would make a garage for folks to park but it's possible. Doesn't seem cars get used much here with the teleports available.

Would have a public area with work benches, and was going to set up a vending machine for Oil turn in straight up so all you have to do is turn it in and get your fuel.

I have seen this done on another server and it is quite impressive... maybe need to work on getting more traffic to the server, you want to make sure it is worthwhile of your time otherwise it will become a bit of a chore (unless you have an auto-build feature). I do like the central hub idea, unless it makes things too easy mode, it is good for the community vibe.

I made it this wipe next to Ranch to make it more attractive for people when they're selling their orchids. Made 3 tier rooms (Regular, Stable with horses and poop collector, and PH's with more amenities). Only had two customers in the entire wipe lol. It's fun if you like to build and play with electricity but honestly everyone is so busy with their own farms that might overlook the idea of Hotel. 

You might want to try on spawn areas for new people on the server.
