DrJeff_Linux Posted May 19 Report Posted May 19 (edited) Introduction I have noticed many players, even some veterans, blown away by parking an Attack Helicopter in a heli garage, just as you'd do with a minicopter. As people keep having stuff stolen from their attack helis, I'd like to divulge this useful info for our fellow pilots that are not aware of this trick. Requirements - As a minimum a 2x4 space. However, I recommend making it longer by one, even two spaces, just for mobility's sake - Said garage to be filled with Wall Frames. This one is optional, bear in mind, but I've learnt to build this way to avoid the heli going off-course. It is your choice whether you'll need them and/or if you'll upgrade them. To park you just do the usual "Ctrl" to drive in a straight line. If the attack heli starts levitating/tilting, alternate back to normal flying to stabilize it in the ground. Repeat until you're able to get your attack heli inside/outside. You'll get the hang of it very quickly. Caveats - (uncertain how and whether it works) Garage doors have a sliiight chance of crushing your heli. Take this with a grain of salt, as this has only happened to me once, almost a year ago. I can't replicate the circumstances. - Might be harder, slightly, to open/close garage door without leaving heli. - Building will be blocked in a bigger area while parked inside. Slight annoyance, you'll see if that annoys you. Conclusion With the info provided, though not too detailed, I trust you can have more measures to avoid griefing/stealing from your helicopter. I hope this helps you to better secure your attack helis. Take it or leave it, and share it with your peers if you wish to. Stay RustEZ, Jeff Edited May 19 by Dr. Jeff
