yumyum Posted June 4 Report Posted June 4 -add potatoes as a saleable. they currently (imo) have no use in game. maybe .58 credits each if the price difference from pumpkins to corn is to be followed. -let us sell worms. -add metal armor inserts as saleable. -Increase the sell value of components as they are really little compared to crops.
YetiBacklash Posted June 4 Report Posted June 4 Yes on potatoes. (+) headbags, human skulls, the different fishes, teas and/or berries, if you're gonna do worms then grubs too (-) sticks
yumyum Posted June 4 Author Report Posted June 4 I mainly want those particulars to be saleable because they currently have little use in game. as for fishes, they are easily exchangable for scrap. And there's no better all-around bait than grubs. for berries and teas, No. berries exist for different reasons and so do tea. I don't think diluting the saleable pool with particulars that can easily be found useful is a good idea.
YetiBacklash Posted June 6 Report Posted June 6 I can understand that but everything you originally listed can either be composted for scrap or ground into already sellable resources. imo the more variety the better

(1) I said potatoes have no real use in game when pitted against other crops. -corn can be sold, best crop to compost -pumpkins, best farmable produce for overall heals -wheat=bread, best food for horses -hemp is cloth! -potatoes, ...... bad compost value, low healing, worse horse feed than bread. I might be missing nuances but it seems like just the worst crop to be farming for. (2) worms are worse bait than grubs and the amount of work that goes into resetting traps so that they can trap again might not be worth it for everyone. also, bad compost value! you can only stack 100 and they need quite a lot of them to even turn into 1 fertiliser! (3) metal plates give only like 3 HQM... but yeah I guess your point can work. But you did raise a good indirect point. Fish farmers and chicken egg farmers do need some love. However diluting the saleable pool too much without expanding the saleable items at a time just makes it more of a gamble than a market.
