Your in-game name (note if you're an admin) The server your Raidable Base entry is on (i.e. AU-Survival, EU-Pure, US-Scourge and so on) The map grid ID location of the build (Example bottom right L24) Max 2 screenshots: One showing the front of the build and one interior screenshot. Build Tour Events Build tours will be held in Lobby 1 in Discord, at time to be confirmed on the weekend of 2/3 August FAQ: Q: Can I use SAM sites, traps, and external walls? A: SAMs & external walls yes, pixel gaps no Q: Do I need to allow for loot locations? A: No need, we can adjust this Q: Do we need to place power? A: No power needed, just add your traps and we will power it via server Q: Will there be NPC's A: No NPC's will be involved Q: Do I need to allow for tiers? What materials should I use? A: No need to worry about tiers, we can always adjust that as needed! Q: Does the TC need to be accessible through normal door / window access? A: Accessing the TC can be all part of the fun of the raid 3
YetiBacklash Posted July 19 Report Posted July 19 (edited) @Samakeen Can u give a yes/no on the following: SAM sites, bunkers, external walls, pixel gaps I assume we need to have a built in place where a locked crate would go for the loot? - can u give a description of how big that needs to be (1 open square, 2 triangles, will it fit under a floor shelf, etc.) Is the locked crate the only loot or should we have areas for boxes/barrels where loot can be generated - Same kind of idea, but if we make it where the crate could fit in multiple places can it be a coin toss where it will spawn so it's not known every single time - Or should we operate under the idea it will spawn in the same place every time Power source: do we need to include turrets/solar or will a test gen be placed for power No npcs spawning to defend, correct? So no need for window embrasures/peeks I assume there will be different tiers - is our goal to make easy, medium, or hard: Am I HQMing everything or just trying to make door path cheaper than going through walls once ppl know the layout. I assume up to 10 turrets, 10-20 shotgun/flame traps is prob the max that'd be reasonable? IDK TC doesn't need to be accessible bc once loot crate is taken the base despawns, correct? No need to worry about loot locations, we can adjust this as well Accessing the TC can be all part of the fun of the raid Have a fab build, cant wait to see what gets made! 1

Net-Viper X Posted Thursday at 11:42 AM Report Posted Thursday at 11:42 AM Given the recent issues on US Survival and the request my admin to remove any excess builds, how should we handle this event? I was in the process of building mine when the issues began and am now unsure if I should complete mine or hold off. Is it possibly to get an extension of the event end date so we have time to build something once issues on Survival are resolved?
YetiBacklash Posted Thursday at 05:39 PM Report Posted Thursday at 05:39 PM (US) Survival, location: C5, ign: Dilf Vader, "The UpperDecker" If I'm not there for the tours, it's a little bit of a maze with 9 total auto turrets, 6 flame traps, and I think 15 shotgun traps. Sprinklers on exterior in case it spawns in the snow. All the seemingly extra floor frames are intentional, to prevent raiders from placing twig floors that would block traps Server issues have prevented me from hooking up the electrics: HBHF placed around exterior would activate: opening the 9 lower level garage doors for the 3 turrets there (otherwise these can just be chainlink) and also the 3 fluid switches to the sprinklers (otherwise the fluid switches can be eliminated and the sprinklers just always on when water is available) auto night-light setup for the 3 spotlights & 3 siren lights pressure pad to open the 3 flame turret garage doors in 'the pit' Found out you can't place traps on the stupid little rock terrain spots, but the interior 'honeycomb' layer at the bottom should have 6 spikes and 3 metal barricades. If an admin is building, this could be honeycombed with walls and then foundations deleted in order to place the spikes/barricades. Ladders on exterior can be left off if you want raiders to have to bring their own. There are lots of empty door sockets but I wouldn't recommend adding too many more doors than are already placed; it's already too tempting to just pummel from the outside without the ability to add more foundations for honeycomb

Lets not tarnish what is a good event/opportunity simply because you have disagreements with your admin/server. Take it direct and have a conversation. Not here.

I don't see any tarnishing, or 'disagreements' - just a legit question. It takes a lot of time and non-typical blueprints to get to the point where you can make a base for this. I was in the same boat, concerned about the original deadline approaching fast while the server was having pretty much continuous rollbacks. I too was going to ask here if it was possible to be gifted the necessary mats/items on another server. *** that being said, it does look like they've extended the deadline another week Edited Thursday at 08:23 PM by YetiBacklash ***
Staff Samakeen Posted Thursday at 09:19 PM Author Staff Report Posted Thursday at 09:19 PM @YetiBacklash@TheQueerGuy@Net-Viper X Well, good news all round as YetiBacklash mentioned the end date was extended Check out the edited dates now above. Also, a build for an EZ hosted event certainly would not be considered an excess build as its serving a purpose. If theres anything else I can answer please reach out! 1

I think you may have misunderstood my post, not sure what you mean about a disagreement with a server admin. Our server was experiencing severe issues with crashes, and we were asked by admin to remove any excess builds in order to help with stability.

I have a few questions about the event build. Im asking here rather than Dm in case others may be wondering the same thing. Will players be able to plant twig and rope ladders on these structures like in actual pvp, or will a TC block this from happening? If the TC does not block twig and ladders, is there some way to block this so as to force players through an intended path? Will skins transfer over or will all doors and other items appear as a default appearance? Should we place crates in various locations to signify where loot crates are intended to appear within the structure? I understand that the bases will be powered by the server so will not need a power source. If electronics are used in various setups, should a battery still be in place to show where main power should connect to the circuit? Thanks in advance for any info that can be provided.
Staff Samakeen Posted Thursday at 10:42 PM Author Staff Report Posted Thursday at 10:42 PM Thanks @Net-Viper X! Got this below for you: Q: Will players be able to plant twig and rope ladders on these structures like in actual pvp A: Yes twig access will be able to occur just like a pvp raid, so your build should take this into consideration Q: Will skins transfer over or will all doors and other items appear as a default appearance? A: Ideally yes, but I wouldnt make your build reliant on that always being functional eg any form of clear garage doors Q: Should we place crates in various locations to signify where loot crates are intended to appear within the structure? A: No need for anything loot, this will be managed our side Q: Should a battery still be in place to show where main power should connect to the circuit? A: If you think it may be difficult to figure out you could place a sign to direct, but otherwise no need I hope this helps!
Net-Viper X Posted Thursday at 11:01 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:01 PM I assume wiring that is installed will remain? It wont just be like wireless power going to every electrical item in the base? so motion sensors and things will work?

Its my that threw me off and thought you were talking about your own excessive builds. Apologies again.
