2025 RustEZ Community Halloween Build Contest

Grab your build hammers and carve those pumpkins — it’s time for our annual Halloween Build Contest! All players are invited to create a spooky, original Halloween-themed structure on their server and compete for prizes awarded next wipe (November)!

 

BUILD REQUIREMENTS

The build must be a stand-alone single detached Halloween-themed build (no towns/villages/hotels/bridges to ensure an enjoyable event experience for all) and contain a minimum of 5 different Halloween items obtained during wipe.

 

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, reply to this forum thread and include:

• Your server & region (i.e. JP Scourge)
• Your in-game name (i.e. Samakeen)
• The name of your build (i.e. Samakeen's Spoopy Shack)
• The Map Grid ID of your build (i.e. C13)

Maximum of 2 screenshots of your build: One screenshot of the front, one interior/other screenshot of your choice

Once you have posted your entry here, send me or your local admin a private message via the website or Discord to request your build contest package if opting for a Halloween-y theme (a few helpful Halloween items).

Post early so we can follow your progress! You may edit your post later to update the screenshots.

Builds must be posted here by

• Friday, October 31st, 2025 at 10:00 AM ET
• Friday, October 31st, 2025 at 2:00 PM GMT
• Friday, October 31st, 2025 at midnight AEST

Players must maintain the tool cupboard (TC) during the contest to ensure no decay prior to:

• Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 at midnight ET
• Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 at 5:00 PM GMT
• Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at 3:00 AM AEST

Admins may enter the competition, use of admin tools is allowed. Admin build contest will be decided by a community poll.

 

BUILD TOUR EVENTS

 Your server admins will do their best to host server events across the weekend of 1st & 2nd November so participants can offer tours of their build (it is not a requirement that you need to be at the tour.) This post will be updated to include events and times for event tours, join the discord to stay updated.
 

BUILD CONTEST PRIZES

Prizes will be on a per server basis, winners will be chosen by vote released closer to end of wipe.

• 1st place: $10 RustEZ store credit OR 3 golden eggs + 1 supply signal
• 2nd place: $5 RustEZ store credit  OR 2 golden eggs
• 3rd place: 3x supply signals
