Besieged Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 Create splitters and combiners that are able to be toggled on and off. Allowing for more dynamic industrial setups with less conveyors. Being able to switch on/off feeder or destination splitters/combiners allowing one conveyor group to handle all the input or output that would have taken multiple conveyor groups. 1
Theodore Baggins Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 Interesting idea, but I want to be sure I understand it correctly. Could this be done simply by turning off excess conveyors after a split or combiner and turning them on when needed for faster throughput? Could you give an example?
Besieged Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM Author Report Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM (edited) attached a flowchart the current way you need to do 15 conveyors 3 times with toggleable combiners splitters you only need one set of the conveyors. 15 is just a number it could be 3, 9 whatever. It basically would make it so that the adaptors would only be visible to the conveyors when the combiners are toggled on since there is a limit i believe of 32 adaptors that a conveyor can interact with. A switchable combiner would be even nicer but a lot more complex I would think. Edited yesterday at 02:30 AM by Besieged more explanation
