US PURE PVE - Mini Copter Stuck Abandonment

Wanted to post this to see about getting some feedback or clarification. 

There was a mini copter stuck on the railing at Bandit Camp, that had been there since day 1 or 2 of the wipe. I took it as a personal challenge to try to get it unstuck, but not sure who's mini it was. While I know several people had tried to get it unstuck etc. Could we get some clarification on rules for this? While I wasn't trying to steal it, I like the challenge of trying to recover the helis that get stuck on stuff. 

It's now day 15 of the wipe, and I'm trying to figure out who owned it, or if I can legally keep it since I recovered it etc. Salvage rights maybe?
