Instead of instantly apologizing for his wrongdoings, this player mocked the other player and boasted about being able to loot faster using in-game voice chat. After getting called out again in global chat, this player continued to try to justify his wrongdoings. A temporary ban was implemented to let the player cool off and reflect on his actions.
Vinniethepooh Posted yesterday at 03:56 PM Report Posted yesterday at 03:56 PM Hello RustEZ Admin Team, I would like to sincerely apologize for using inappropriate language and saying the F-word in the server. I understand that this was against the server rules, and I take full responsibility for my actions. I genuinely enjoy playing Rust, and RustEZ is a server I truly enjoy being a part of. I never intended to offend anyone, cause trouble, or make anyone feel uncomfortable. I want to assure you that I have no intention of being harmful or disruptive in any way. I understand that I made a mistake, and I promise to be more respectful and follow the server rules from now on. I kindly ask you to reconsider my ban and give me another chance to play on your server. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal. I sincerely hope you will consider giving me a second chance. Kind regards.
carmennn Posted 14 hours ago Staff Author Staff Report Posted 14 hours ago Hello Vinniethepooh, Sorry for the delay in responding. Thank you for taking the time to post an appeal. We did not issue your ban simply because you used "inappropriate language or said the F-word" in the server. There are multiple records of you stealing from other players. Even after receiving warnings from admins, you continued to break the server rule against griefing and looting. Your most recent offence involved stealing items from another player's private drop. What made the situation worse was your reaction afterwards. Instead of apologizing for your actions, you mocked the player who owned the airdrop. You received a temporary ban of 7 days instead of a permanent ban because your teammates repeatedly explained that you did not know the airdrop was private. However, the owner of the airdrop had already announced this in chat, and the airdrop landed right next to their base. These details should have made it clear that it was a private airdrop. Please take some time to reflect on your actions and make sure you understand why they were against our server rules. Please read our server rules carefully at the link below. You can find them under the Rules section: https://rustez.com/compare/ We expect you to understand and follow these rules if you wish to continue playing on this server.
Vinniethepooh Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Hello, Thank you for taking the time to explain the situation and for giving me the opportunity to appeal. I sincerely apologize for what happened. I would like to clarify that I genuinely did not see the message in chat announcing that the airdrop was private. Also, personal airdrop planes usually fly at a lower altitude, so when I saw the airdrop and reached it first, I genuinely suspected that it might have been mine. I did not intend to steal from another player or knowingly disrespect their property. That being said, I understand that I should have taken the time to confirm whose airdrop it was before taking anything. I also sincerely apologize for my reaction afterwards. Mocking the owner was unnecessary and immature, and I should have handled the situation much more respectfully. I appreciate that you considered my teammates' explanations and gave me a 7-day ban instead of a permanent one. I don't take that consideration for granted. I genuinely enjoy playing on this server and being part of the community. I will read the rules carefully, be more mindful of other players, and make sure something like this does not happen again. I hope you can understand that there was no deliberate intention to steal or cause trouble. I take responsibility for how I handled the situation, and I'm genuinely sorry. Thank you for your time and understanding.
