  1. Spending 10k scrap on wood at outpost gives you enough wood to sell for about $13,000 net worth on /shop, and stone gives you about $10,000 net worth. That’s why it all keeps getting bought up as soon as the machines are refilled. Unfortunately, the amounts are built in on the backend, and there’s nothing Death can do aside from removing stone and wood from /shop
  2. One of the issues surrounding this that I’ve heard a lot of from staff is that having a dedicated PVP area brings more PVP minded people, and typically, some of those PVP minded people introduce some level of toxicity which then bleeds out in to the other areas of the server. I think this risk would be mitigated by there being nothing to lose or gain, but that still puts pride on the line, and people generally behave in a more toxic manner when their sense of pride is hurt. With that being said, I love PVP, and I would never argue against a PVP zone, personally.
  3. As long as they're kept on powered lifts, you can store vehicles for an entire wipe, and it's very common for a few folks to grab 8-10 cars and toss them in a garage behind a paywall of 5k-10k scrap. That issue aside, there's a cap count of roughly 60 vehicles per map. With over 100 or so regularly playing players, those vehicles get picked up pretty quickly and used/stored for an entire wipe making any fresh spawns along the road extremely rare. At the end of the day, there will never be enough modular vehicles to go around on a high-pop PVE server.
  4. I wanted to wait to do this until I knew I'd likely end up sticking with the servers for a while, and after 8 months and 1,200 hours, I guess it might be time to do that. I started playing Rust after building my PC about 3.5 years ago for the sole purpose of playing this game. I dove right in and immediately got hooked, since at the time, I was working 2nd shift and usually had quite a bit of time before and after work to play. I started playing on low X modded servers so I wouldn't have to grind as much, until I found my self on a 1000x server that was actually pretty decently balanced(hard to imagine, I know). I found myself a pretty good team on there and we played together as top clan on the server for just over a year before making the venture over to the official Facepunch servers. Once there we were able to adapt pretty quickly for going from 1000x to straight vanilla and we ended up being pretty successful for a couple wipes. We ended up running a massive clan compound like somewhat of a hotel for PVP'ers, at one point having 4 separate dominant PVP teams living inside of our china walls. What we didn't realize, was that one of those teams was made up entirely of cheaters, and one of the other teams was in close personal contact with the Rust dev team. They found out about each other, and we were told to either boot them out, or get reported along with them. Not wanting the cheaters to turn on us, we declined to kick them out, and as a result, we all ended up with bans from all official Facepunch servers. Seeing that ban message kind of made me step back and think about what point I had gotten myself to in the game, and what kind of player I was becoming in the game, and I hit quit and uninstalled immediately. After a few months, I decided to re-install and give it another shot. I rejoined that same 1000x server that I spent over 2,300 hours on, and after 30 minutes or so I realized that I no longer had any interest in being that typical toxic PVP'er that I had found myself turning in to, so I left. I played a couple of solo/duo servers for a month or so, and then somehow found myself joining US Scourge. Honestly, at first, the change felt really weird. My first instinct every time I saw someone was to shoot and loot(I'd still like to be able to shoot some of these people), but I quickly adapted to the PVE lifestyle. I was able to fully indulge in all the things I really enjoyed doing in the game without having to worry that I'd log in to find my farm decayed after being raided, or getting countered on oil while waiting for the timer to finally hit 00:00. It was all of the fun, and none of the stress. On top of that, the server had one of the best communities I've come across in all of gaming, let alone Rust. That's the reason I've kept coming back, is the community. I've met so many awesome and kind people on here, and I'm thankful to now be a part of the community that got me hooked on the server in the first place. Outside of playing Rust, I like playing CS:GO, Splitgate, Halo, Forza, Among Us(yes, still), and I even have an embarrassingly high amount of hours in Car Mechanic Simulator. I've worked from home since the start of the pandemic, so my job affords me a lot of opportunity to get gaming time in. Outside of work hours, I spend the majority of time hanging out with my wife and son, playing D&D, or indulging in whatever obsession I've recently picked up. I'm not really sure what to say besides all of that, except thank you. Thank you to Death for creating this place, the staff for helping to keep this place together, and the community for making it what it is. You are all really fuckin cool, and I appreciate you for being here.

    bans

Publique aquí para apelar la prohibición. El mensaje de prohibición en el servidor decía robar e ignorar las advertencias. https://rustez.com/forums/forum/6-banmute-appeals/
  6. Seems like almost every day we have multiple people asking when wipe is. Maybe we could get a "define wipe" chat command that spits out some message like "All RustEZ servers wipe with Facepunch force wipe on the first Thursday of every month" or something like that?
  7. Nominee's IGN: silver196543 Your IGN: Mister Dobalina Server & Region: US Scourge Anybody that plays on US Scourge or has played on US Scourge knows Silver. Silver is always in chat checking up on players, making sure everyone is doing alright, extending sympathies if they aren't, and helping out in any and every way he can. He's one of those players that you can't help but notice and appreciate for his great attitude and helpful spirit. He's the perfect embodiment of the RustEZ community and we have all benefited from his presence.
  8. Being PVE, MLRS rockets should be removed from loot table for attack heli. They serve no purpose on these servers so it really just increases the chances that we end up with bad heli loot. Would also like to see them stackable to more than 6x
  9. Definitely one of the coolest things I've seen in Rust. Tbh I had low expectations the first time I TP'd to watch but was completely blown away. It looks a little chaotic in the screenshots but it's insanely well choreographed
  10. I would love to see Distress Signals calling Level 2 or Level 3 helis, the current cost:reward ratio is way too high. Not only is our chance of scoring decent loot low, but the heli is also insanely easy to take down. Spending 5000 net worth(equivalent of 50k scrap) on a distress signal seems less and less appealing each time you get nothing but ammo and attachments, which seems to be the result like 80% of the time, especially when the fun is over in 90 shots.
  11. There is no written rule regarding cars. The general rule of thumb provided by staff is that you should have no more then one car per person, unless you are a dealer. In which case, you can have up to 10, but players need to be able to buy them 24/7. This is something that needs to be outlined and written out though in my opinion. If you see the 'Suggestions' board, you'll see that an expanded, written out set of rules has been asked for for a few months now, including rules surrounding cars.
  12. Your in-game name: Mister Dobalina Server: US Scourge Map ID: Z24-AA24 Town Name : Scourge Description: I'm kind of going all out on this one. I have built an entire Western town including Sheriff's Office w/ Gallows, Saloon, General Store, School House, Church, Lodge, and a Horse Barn. Stop by during the tour to see the full extent and interior details on each building.
  13. 1) Poor guy tried to dive bomb on to my roof to avoid SAMs 2) Admin messed up loot tables, each supply drop gave you 2-3 more signals 3) A relaxing foundation wipe
  14. Thank you RQB. One general rule mentioned there is something that I see being broken regularly, which is allowing round-the-clock access to the vehicles. Last wipe the economy was so broken that selling them at all hours was impossible, because you can’t set prices higher than 9,999 scrap. With that being said, my suggestion would definitely be to post those rules somewhere more visible. It’s hard to report something if you don’t know the guidelines. For example, that post says 10 cars, but I’ve been told a max of 5-7 per dealer. Would be nice to have something concrete that we can refer to when there might be an issue.
  15. Are there clear cut rules for car vendors posted anywhere? I feel like these issues could be caught easier if everyone knew what the rules were. I’ve heard varying conflicting rules over the past few wipes
  16. Just to speak to the concern, the ban only affects the 9 RustEZ servers.

  19. This is laughable and not even worthy of a response.
  20. I was wondering why mixing tables don’t stack, that explains it.
