  1. What I like about the new one (the big one 😉) is that if you're looking into a box/crate and your inventory is full, you can open the backpack. Whereas before, you'd have to stop looking in said box and all it's content would spill out.

The only thing missing is a key bind for it, which honestly FP should have thought of in the first place. And I'd find it very hard to believe they wont be adding one, players all over will surely demand it. And if they do, bet we all change gestures "B" to backpack, hehe.

Gotta fact check you there @Lord McGuffin, brains are nearly 60% fat (source)

Still, recent studies have shown that there is a higher correlation between sugar intake and personal fat storage, rather than fat consumption, itself. This coupled with the marathon-running ability of our zombies would indicate that our zeds would indeed have a very low fat content.

Players, on the other hand, eat far too much chocolate and have shown an inclination towards a more sedentary lifestyle with the advent of cars, a variety of helicopters, boats, snowmobiles, and now teleportation instead of good ol-fashioned cardio. Gone are the days of taking on bears with our bare hands and barely surviving to tell the tale. Instead we sit and fish and set snap-traps. It's times like these that I think back and remember the good ol times... where we could stack fishing rods up to 50 and get milcrate loot and fish by just clicking periodically. Now that was exercise! 😆

That's all well and good @Theodore Baggins, and I would agree with you. However, a 2017 study from The University of Texas at Austin showed that over 90% of zombies do NOT have the actual capacity to process fat from their eating of human brains. This is explained due to the fact that most zombies no longer have a "proper" digestive track that would allow the processing of fatty acids. The study took on 124 specimens, and amongst these only 9 had a digestive system somewhat capable of taking in fat. So that's nearly 93% without this ability. Furthermore, 7 of those 9 specimens were morbidly obese zombies, aka "Brutes". And as you may well know, they are no brutes on our lovely island (they just can't make the swim).

So yes, brains do contain fat, but the friendly zombies on our roads, in our forests and on our beaches cannot absorb it.

    Sorry @elroy.

Nah because you'd lose a lot of skins. There are far too many to rely on that metric. But lucky for you, if you sort by trending it order skins based on how many people use them. 🙂

Funny you should say that, because just now, the garage door I had trending and added in my favourites last night , was no longer in my favourites or trending. Had to go to page 7 to find it. Do these reset every day or something?

Be sure to downvote these skins. I'm working on a web panel to make processing skins easier so we can remove these skins in mass to make room for new ones.

Rather than rely on voting, or just voting, could you have a function where if a skin hasn't been used in X amount of time, it gets removed? Or even: been used less than X amount of times in Y amount of months, so BEBYE!

  5. The skins are nice, but so many... Seems to be hurting performance.

In my case, loading the shear amount of pants just crashed Rust. There's like 20 pages I think???

A lot of these are just cheap or clearly made in like less than a hour...

Can't we clean it up a bit to improve performance?

  7. Yeah Theodore it would seem this Xmas update/event is kinda rough. My game has been pretty choppy the whole wipe, compared to let's say the 2 previous ones. At first I thought it was because I was on US Survival, since there are lots of big "industrial" builds and such, plus thousands of potential skins to load in. But I went back to playing on Pure for the last couple of days, and it's better sure, but still kinda choppy. This whole wipe I've been getting "delays", something I've never had issues with before. Like from time to time I'll perform an action and it won't register for a second or so.

Facepunch has gone a little crazy this year with all the DLCs and other additions. The more they add, the rougher it's gonna be for those of us with "lesser" PCs. Feels like they're shooting themselves in the foot somewhat. This is an old game, and usually the older a game the more casual players there are. Players who don't necessarily have the best rig. If they keep this up they might make they're own game inaccessible to a lot of players.
