  1. The video explains what is generally accepted as the "proper". solar panel placement, which is towards the middle of the map (the equator).

That being said, it doesn't take into account all of the Rust game mechanics. It doesn't really account for longer wipes. Rust does have inherent build-in seasons that are not immediately obvious to players, but do affect things like temperature, weather, and the sun. In longer wipes, the effect on solar panel charging are more obvious. When I have run tests throughout wipe, I have not found the change to be that big to warrant needing to completely reset their positions.

If your batteries aren't lasting, place 1-2 more solar panels. Four is not always enough to charge a fully powered battery due to the fluctuations in weather alone.

The video also explains the importance of making sure your panels are not damaged as this does affect charging.

In any case, this is not a bug, but rather Rust's somewhat complicated and mysterious seasons/weather at play. I hope this makes things a little clearer.

  2. Same thing is happening on US Scourge. A full purge of all items is happening 8 days after last logging in.This must be addressed immediately, either fixed or announced that the time was reduced. For instance, as players leave for holidays this month, thinking their bases are safe, they are coming back to finding their bases are gone.

  3. Considering the designer is advertising it as a 'not difficult'' parkour puzzle, but then makes it so that it is impossible to do solo without either a player boost or messing with physics settings (which can have other unintended consequences), I believe this is a bug that should still be forwarded to the designer of this custom monument as feedback

  4. Just happened again with a player, Deviltattoo on US Scourge.

They had disconnected due to a power outage at Outpost and were moved to a safe location by another admin.

However the game did not register that they had changed location, and still killed them 20 minutes after disconnecting.

  5. Relating to this, there is no way to 'share' a lift to make it publicly accessible anymore. The only way for another player to interact with it is if they are authorized on the tool cupboard.

This means that players who run automated vehicle shops can no longer do so, as well as garages. This wipe we have a team with a very clever campground that is no longer able to provide services to their clients without letting them authorize first, which is very risky.

If there was a way to add the 'share' button to the car lift, this would help things greatly.

    Thanks!

The only thing it could possibly be is I'm using NvidiaGeforce NOW,  a game cloud streaming service.

I use GeForce Now, and the plugin works fine for me.
Are you absolutely sure that this is exactly what you are typing in chat?

Tried and tested last night, using GeForce Now, and it worked, no problem

  7. Hello there @Greenfox,

I think the issue is that you are adding quotations. This is not necessary and prevents the plugin from pasting correctly.

I just pasted that exact image to the XL sign in  your base with no issues.

This is what I typed, while looking directly at the centre of the sign:

(minus the space between the N and the .jpg)

Try this and let me know if it works!

  8. Happened again to VengeanceUM. They disconnected at bandit camp, came back 21 minutes later and were dead (expected when logging off in a safe zone.) HOWEVER their last death marker was at their previous death across the map. And there was no bag dropped, they were a respawn on a beach instead.

  9. Happened again to another player today on US Scourge, murqsdj. They had disconnected at Bandit Camp and asked me to move them to a safe location. I moved them to The Sleeper Zone. When they logged back in, they were a fresh respawn on a beach with no death screen, backpack lost.
