  1. Hey hey! I wanted to just pop in a suggestion concerning skins. Seeing the same thing as always can get, well, boring. I know on another server I admin on, this was our chief complaint (I play here on scourge for fun). One of our players mentioned a pack of files so we tested them out. Players love them. I have found more than a few that would be great on here. I thought I would pass on the info so others could see them! I know here on Scourge with the build contests, a lot of these would come in handy. I did take and make a few notes of some of the file numbers if the admins would like them.  Just a suggestion is all.  https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2626586228

  2. That wasn't quite what I was looking for. I can do that now by googling "rust sufur ore svg" and it does the same. I was looking for usage on the box itself. But, I appreciate you working so hard on it and listening to the community!

  3. Alright everyone! The votes are in! But first I want to say Thank you to all who participated. I really enjoyed this build challenge.  Each and every build was dramatically different.

In 4th place we have Pikefish with his Orthicc Tower. I must say it really felt like Halloween on the build tour since quite a few died under his elevator. LOL.

In 3rd place we have Slippery McNuts' Mortuary. This too claimed a few lives. LOL.

In 2nd place we have Spliff with his recreation of the Ghostbuster's firehouse. You really made it feel like we were walking into the movie itself!

    Drumroll please.....

In 1st place we have Lunula (and CalmEhKawzee) with their recreation of Beetlejuice. You brought back my teenhood with this one! LOL.

If you haven't yet seen them and the person is on, please go see them. The list of all the builds can be found below. Please note however that voting has ended.

  5. I want to thank all of our builder's this month! Your creations were amazing, thoughtful, and fun. After tallying the votes from the community and your friendly admins, please allow me to introduce, your winners.

In 4th place we have @Maldibus with "The Maldibus Institute for Wayward and Ill-mannered Children" located in I21. Your electrical punishment was quite fun!

In 3rd place we have @Sppin with his Virtual School (located in T23) that brought vision to what a lot of our students are going through during this difficult year. Each room showing a different personality gave it a personal touch that shone through.

In 2nd place we have @alexanightfire with S.M.A.R.T., the School for Marvelous Academia and Resourceful Teaching (located in E11). There was so much packed into this build. Where to start! From the personal touches of having each teacher's lesson plan on their "desk" (computer station) to the school play yard, and the drama and art program rooms. Each room told a story.

In 1st place we have @Pikefish with Fragwarts - School of Rustcraft and RustEZ (located in z8, z9, AA8, AA9 - front entrance is the bridge located in Z8). This build, much like each, had a story to tell. There is a "puzzle" starting at the vending machine. If you haven't done it yet, go do it. Don't forget to get "sorted" by the Sorting Boonie! Again, thank you to all of our builders. Each of your builds were lovely.

@Jelly Belly I loved the "old school" simple school with the "bell" on top.

@louisside your version of the school from Bully brought back fond memories of the classic game for quite a few of our tourists.

@PancholinI liked your use of a scarecrow as a teacher! Thank you again to all of our builders! We hope you will enter again in next month's build challenge where Halloween will reign supreme!

  6. I know we already have /sil for picture frames, etc. Could we get the newly updated portion of sil by chance.../sili

Basically it allows you to put a frame on any side of the large storage box. Then you equip the item you want in the frame on your hotbar and while "holding" it you type /sili and poof like magic it appears. This would be a tremendous help for us overachievers that organize everything.

  7. To cut down on the amount of tc's (which clog space and add to lag) could we possibly get the code locks for the refineries, pumpjacks, and furnaces. I know that it can be done I just haven't searched for the plugin name. This would also cut down on theft a considerable amount.

  9. @Sararainmaker LOL yeah, this is an older post from before I became an admin. I was a bit ticked. Took me a long time to get a horse and then that happened. LOL. Now I see horses all the time. When they started becoming constipated people stopped hoarding them. LOL🤣 I guess the benefiber or miralax costed too much.

  10. (TK) Twisted Kakiro asked me to come look at his area. It is the swampy area of L16/L17. It looks like the water is chopped at an overhang where it isn't supposed to be. I am including photos I took to show the issue. There wasn't any notice of red text during my time there.

  11. Morning everyone. For several days, bandit camp has been out of "scrap" where we exchange our HQM in. Several of us were told that to be patient and it might refill on its own. Some thought it was a bug. We did try gambling tons of scrap to see if it refilled it. So far, it hasn't. In the scope of all things going on, this is hardly worth the post. In chat I joked just build large with it and it'll lag and then attention would be paid. Of course, I don't mean it. People are tired of silence. They ask about things and are met with silence. They said they feel like the admins don't care. I pushed back by reminding them that server stability is of more importance than turning in HQM and that the admins do care. I also reminded them that those that work the server have jobs and lives and are going through things too personally so we need to give you all a break. @Death thank you for tirelessly working on stabilization, but to squash the aggravation could you please post in discord or here somewhere that people can see that you will look into it or something? Or maybe put it in the selling menu temporarily on the black market instead of explosives or wood or something? I really dont have much of it to sell so it isnt bothering me. But, others are quite annoyed. Again thank you and thank the admins for their tireless work on this and all the other RUST EZ Servers.

  12. To be honest, I would just be happy to not get pysically ill from the "invisible wall" that you run into, then shoots you backwards, then propels you forwards. I am hoping with the next wipe it will sort itself. I know you all are working hard on it and while we seem to not care or appreciate your work, there are those of us that do. The horse hoarding is small in the scope of things, yes. My main point was that these weird spikes and invisible walls cause issues like the one pictured above and I failed to get that across properly. Thank you for taking the time to address this @Death

  13. This morning I almost quit on US Scourge, which is not like me at all. Rubber banded and horse got stuck in a pole, midair, at outpost. Took pics. Virgoth's daughter gave me a horse. Virgoth and I began talking about the fact that people are hoarding horses and nothing is being done about it. Its ridiculous. Before this wipe and farming, I could find a horse no problem. Now, people are allowed to have all of them if they wanted. It kills gameplay and since @Death wants to keep things fair, a horse rule absolutely needs to be enforced. So, Virgoth mentioned a community stable. I think this would be good. Admin built. One horse per player. One stall per player. An arena attached so we can run the horses if we want. Vend machine where we could purchase food for the horses or make us go grow it ourselves, either way. Stalls could be locked and code given so that no one can steal it. Lose your code, lose your horse. So that it wouldn't be a "free" thing, make the players pay for the upkeep of the building with a dropbox in their stall. If a player doesnt log in for 10 days, horse can be utilized to sell poop or taken out of population. Just an idea.

  14. Michael Maos had an awesome idea. Could you limit the amount of fuel placed into the quarry...say like 5k or 10k so people would be forced to come back, empty the contents, refuel, and repair it? This would cut down on the mats needed to repair so the community would stop screaming about it LOL. Plus, it gets players on the game more often to check their stuff. @Death

  15. Thank you to everyone working on this and putting input in. Last wipe, before quarries were changed, I had to stay on grinding away to keep my rental units and my house tc stocked and to keep lgf in the machines for people. This wipe, with the amount of stone coming out, my houses are pretty much good for the next 25 days. And we are only one week in. I do think the quarries needed rework. I was concerned due to the amount of supplies it cost so I am appreciative of the millionth rework poor Death had to do. I will run them now and see how it goes. Dicko is right about there needing to be some need to do more than sit in our houses and fish while our mega quarries produce tons of sellable product. I don't mind running the map. I get to see new builds.I don't take heli's or brad's or anything like that so the quarries putting out some extra that I can turn in for credits is a personal preference, not needed. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the rework and the continual upkeep on the server.

  16. I cannot say that I am too happy about either of the changes made. I thought the quarries were fine to begin with before they got stacked. Since the stacking I keep coming up to an invisible wall anytime I get anywhere near pumpjacks or quarries. Sometimes it happens at random. I know for a fact it isnt my computer because Phat built it. I got so agitated last night with it that I started to write the times, the location, what I was doing and what I was near (pumpjacks, trees, house, etc). At one point I just logged off. I spend a good chunk of cash every wipe and I understand there absolutely will be lag due to the mods as well as the surge of people on the net with this pandemic, however, it shouldnt be this bad. I know the quarry rework was supposed to help. You cannot please everyone. I just think we need to take a step back and rethink it again. I appreciate all of the hard work you put into this server @Death. It is a wonderful community. Next time, I think more input from the community is warranted. We are only one week into wipe and people are already built way up and it feels like we should be on week 2.5-ish and not only 7 days in. Thanks again for your hard work.
