  1. Well, here we go again...
    I know the way this topic is going to get, once again, wipe after wipe, always the same thing...

    Helicopters...
    Our dear helicopters, loved by a huge part of the community, hated by the newbies.

    We all love to farm Helicopters.
    But some of us, make something similar to a "monopoly" of helicopters!

    This wipe, at Survival PVE, I've take down 1 or 2 PUBLIC helicopters, I believe that this number is someway equal to the remaining players of this server.

    Since rarely can't get 1 Public down, I've to buy it...
    Why? Someone at T7 square is always geting them down.

    Well, I don't know how to correct this, since it is PUBLIC, I know I'm gonna be "crucified" about this, calling me a "cry baby" but that's ok  🙂 
    Just expressing my disapointment about this in a friendly server... Once uppon a time, like a year aggo or something like that with "Pickachoot", we are used to ask IF someone want's the heli.

    Nope! Not harder, the same difficulty has always had!
    Just suggesting something to save you time if you want to craft a big number of Gun Powder!
    I've crafted like 500k+ and it takes almost 1 hour to craft it all.
    In this time, you can't craft anything more  
    That's only my point, saving time for the players 😛

    Don't know if this has been already suggested or not, but here I go...
    Can we have double of Gun Powder craft capacity?

    Yes, I'm crafting now Gun Powder and I think that is something that all of us are doing since we have only 2 week until the next Wipe!

    So, now we have 10 Gun Powder output for each 30 Characol and 20 Sulfur.
    If we could get like 20 Gun Powder output for each 60 Characol and 40 Sulfur OR 30 Gun Powder for 90 Characol and 60 Sulfur it would be great!

    I think that we need a limit of TC's for each player...

    I know that the map is really big and we have space for everyone but there is some situations that are just "stupid".

    In my opinion, I accept "massive constructions", they are just beautiful and is kind of entertaining explore those massive buildings and check outside how did someone build that... BUT, in one side of the road.

    On Survival PVE, there is at least 2 constructions over the public road and this, on my opinion, it's abusive.

    Every time I'm walking around the map, I see some random TC's planted.

    I've seen also, 1 TC near a Quarry or a Pump, that's ok, but like 50 meters away from that TC, on a area that is nothing build, we have another one!! 

    My question is, this last TC is saving what?

    Or even better! I've seen a TC planted right next to a river! For what? "Reserving" that stop at the river side to build in the last wipe day?

    SGT For this server, with the conditions that you have, there will be allways resources for all TC's.

     

    Granny, let's see in one week if that's true or not, knowing the players like i know at EU Survival, those TC's will be there in one week 🙂

  7. Hello everyone, yes it's me again.....

     

    So, last wype, I was forced to demolish one of my buildings because it was too big.

    At that time, i was thinking "well, at least now, RustEZ Admins are controling abusive buildings!"

     

    But wype after wype there is allways the same "shit" sorry for the expresion but it's the true.

     

    Las wype, Pickachoot build a freaking island for himself, what happen? Nothing.

    I've talked with Leaf when he told me to demolish my building, he told me that was being solved but nothing happen....

     

    Now, with a few hours of a brand new Wype, at EU Survival, L6, we have at least 3 huge twin towers and at least 2 TC's unused just to make "Land reservation"!

     

    I've been talking with a few players and they told me always the same, "what a lag at that zone!"

     

     

    Did you guys don't do nothing about this?

    When do we have TC limitation per player??

  8. In some way, I agree with you.

     

    But, this also improves our farming... and prevent monuments not respawning...

     

    It is a sacrifice that we make for a greater good that is the respawn of our monuments to avoid smart kids who leave things in the boxes in monuments and compromise their respawn.

    Recently, I have come to realize from what the Admins say, that the bases of players with +10 days of absence are destroyed / cleaned up.

    Just to be informed and since I have been absent for a considerable time (since September 2020), is this a new server rule that is registered in the regulations?

     

    I am questioning this because, as we all know, the peak of players on our servers, typically is in the first days of Wype, normally, after time passes, the flow of players will decrease but does not mean that there are no new players joining the our server.

     

    What do you mean by that?

    I think that destroying bases that are "too much" or too large, such as a player who occupies a complete island, I agree with that and am an advocate of a limit of TC's per player.

    Now destroying bases for absence, I do not agree, the map is much more "ugly" because it is very empty and gives the impression to new players who are joining a ghost server.

    I'm sorry to comment, I'm a normal player but I found this topic appealing.

     

    I do not know to what extent this will be a violation of the rules, since horses are public.

    If it were a car, it would be more complicated, because IF the car had a "lock" and the player stole it, I think it would be an infraction, now a horse I don't think, it happens to everyone and it's normal.

     

    I know and understand your point, it's a little lack of respect from the other person towards you but we are not all the same and it's the reality we have.

     

    That's why i don't save nothing in a horse when I'm ridding one.

    Garrison NPC has been removed recently.

    I think in the next wype we will get them again.

     

    Speaking about Garrison NPC, this could be reworked.

     

    The three existing types, all of them we can farm all the same way.

     

    The way that I find easier, requires 2 ladders, 6 C4 and 3 rockets.

    It's a bit fustrating have allways the same way of doing Garrison NPC, because Garrison NPC Traps and Layout never change.

     

    This could be something that can be random? 

    You create for example 3 or 4 types of random bases for the 3 levels of Garrison and then, they spawn randomly.

    Pipes when disabled, resources continue to pass.

     

    I take the opportunity to leave some notes:

    • This new system is faster and allows you to select the speed at which you want the resources to be removed from one box to the other, allowing, in the case of Quarrys, to have a better performance.
    • It is more pleasing to the eye.

    • The split system no longer "jumps" the mouse when it is pressed several times to increase or decrease the amount.

     

    If I got more bugs, I'tell you here.

    Now with the new JPipe system, I saw 2 BUG's for now, I don't know if they are already known or not, but here goes:

     

    •  JPipe from Pump Jack (fuel tank) to Quarry (fuel tank): With the OFF status it continues to pass Low Grade Fuel to Quarry.
    •  In the JPipe I mentioned earlier, having the Auto Start option activated, Quarry starts its work, but only provides resources after approximately 10 minutes since it is working.

     

    UPDATE:

    The quarry, worked for 2 minutes and then, keep working but didn't give me nothing at output.

    I needed to disable auto start and start quarry manually for it to work normally

     

    If i discover some more, i edit this topic.

    Boats are in no way vital to gameplay and a kayak is well equipped to handle simple junkpile looting. I will revaluate this very soon and make changes as needed. I would much rather the buy it system so we no longer have to deal with over population.

     

     

    Yes, I agree with you, there should be only one method of getting boats, that is, buying. So, when there is no nature in these questions, there are no more.

    There is no way for a player to differentiate whether a boat was bought or found. 

    It is best to follow one of the solutions I mentioned in my previous post if you are having trouble finding a boat.

    That's exactly what I said in my previous post, if there was a way to differentiate the boats purchased from those that simply spawn in the wild, it would be perfect. If not, I think there should be a more rigorous control of these situations or find a way to get around these situations.

    How are you able to know that someone's boat isn't bought? What evidence do you have that they found their boat lying around?



    If you're having trouble finding a boat spawned on the beach, don't go around blaming other people for it. They might have nothing to do with it at all. Just get yourself some scrap and go by a boat. Or, if you're patient, just keep trying to find one. It's not other people's problem that you can't get one.

     

    First part: I will not answer you because it will be a completely useless conversation and each one shows himself as he wants, since you see yourself as very "strict and holy" I have nothing to do with it and I even refrain from commenting, period.

     

    Second part: Purchased boats should have a different color from the others (if possible) for that very reason, or, if this is not possible, there should be more strict control by the team for such a situation, knowing that it happens, it should be controlled more efficiently. Again, I think it is totally unfair to the community to have people arrest PUBLIC boats. Since the boats are bought by the players themselves, they have every right to block and even support.

    I was just walking and there was a open base with a boat inside, logically, you will see it closer.

    You have entered someones house without permition at least once per wype... Everyone does it.

    The seccond one, i believe yes, because on fishing village you can get only a kayak or that small boat, not the large one.

     

    And yes, we have "free" boats arround the map, not only that "payed" ones at fishing village.

    I'm just saying to have more control about that, because anyone knows that is a regular thing for rust players to block boats inside bases, logically, boats that has been purchased by a player mus be blocked obvious but random spawn boats can't be blocked...

    Yesterday, i've been walking arround the map to find one boat... 

     

    During my walk, I found AT LEAST two bases with boats stuck inside! If this is the case, why not take the possible boats to collect for the inventory as is the case with helicopters?

     

    I think there is a tremendous lack of respect for other players to arrest boats at the bases.

     

    Just like you who like to fasten boats like to go to the Oil Rig and other monuments only accessible by boat, so do others!

    I would like the administration to do something against this, as it is a tremendous lack of respect from the community for the community itself.

     

    I've found only one free boat all arround the map!

    It's incredible...

    I am creating this post more specifically for Survival EU players.

    Today I was looking at the stores and I think there is a little lack of perception on the part of the profit vs. loss players! Let's see, I saw stores selling Metal Face Mask for 25 Scrap each.

    What does a Metal Face Mask require to be made?

    • 50 lether
    • 15 High Quality
    • 6 Sewing Kit These
    • 15 High Quality Metal (when exchanged for Scrap, give 30 Scrap ... )

     

    Right here, they are already at a loss to sell such item for 25 Scrap.

     

    I also saw other stores where Fuses were sold for 10 Scrap !! Who sells fuses for 10 Scrap. 

    Have you tried to recycle a Fuse to see how much you get from Scrap? Not? So try and see if you don't get 25 for each fuse ...

     

    Don't get me wrong but I think that having the lowest possible price without loss, I agree, now ridiculously lowering prices causing them to be at a loss,  just to have the lowerest prices at the server, is just stupid!

    At the end of the day, we all know that the important thing is to have Scrap to sell at the end of the wype and keep the money in the shop, but this way they are severely at a loss! I think you should set up a table in the FAQ's with conversions, for example, a Face Mask when recycled what you can give etc. to have a better perception of what can be profitable or not, I see a lot of people honestly.

    Today in the chat I was in a conversation with a player who told me that, when placing the quarrys, if we have a hole that gives HQM, the amount of HQM that Quarry will obtain at level 5 will be greater than any other hole.

    This is true?

    Supposedly when the quarrys were reworked, didn't all holes start to give exactly the same?

    I apologize for meddling in this topic. I myself have noticed that more players are playing on our servers, I play on EU Survival, I don't know if due to the growing fame of the server, if due to the constraints derived from COVID-19, but the reality is that our numbers of players have been growing a lot. I also notice some greater turnout to the so-called "Boss" as is the case with Bradley, yesterday since he was already a player at Bradley I helped him to do it but I let him keep the drop's all, with no problems to point out until now but never know the future .... So there is no way for the development team to create a counter type that tells how long ago player X or Y killed the "Boss"? In this counter, only the player himself would have access to his own counter and to solve problems, the Admins would have access to everyone's counters to help in the authority function in case of problems.

    Some wypes ago, when Death introduced Garrison Bases to the Survival server, I went farm someones and at the time the benefit of that raidable bases was a few locked crate.

    At the time, I thought that this was subject to change, because, in a blinded base, have only a locked crate is a bad thing.

    Today, I went to a raidable base and the same happens.

    I don't know if it is a subject to change sometime but could it be reworked? 

    I think the stuff we need to raid one of those bases vs the profit we have it's not profitable.

     

    Here is my suggestion:

     

    • Extreme level base (HQM Base):

    - 4 or 5 military crates, random, like helicopter or Bradley.

    - 1 or 2 locked crates, random, like helicopter or Bradley.

    - Some random wood boxes, like those ones at the gas station, OR, instead of those boxes, add some more ammo to the turrets, for example, drop with SMG and Pistol bullets some Explosives or 5k of Gun Powder 

     

    •  Medium level (sheet metal base):

    - 1 or 2 military crates, random, like helicopter or Bradley.

    - 1 or 2 locked crates.

    - Some random wood boxes, like those ones at the gas station, OR, instead of those boxes, add some more ammo to the turrets, for example, drop with SMG and Pistol bullets some Explosives or 5k of Gun Powder 

     

    • Easy level (Stone base):

    - 1 military crate.

    - 1 locked crate.

    - Some random wood boxes, like those ones at the gas station, OR, instead of those boxes, add some more ammo to the turrets, for example, drop with SMG and Pistol bullets some Explosives or 5k of Gun Powder 

  23. Hello everyone.

     

    Since im playing at this server, I've always considered that Small Generator is a bit usefull, and why?

    We have Quarrys that we can connect to a box with fuel and keep our Quarry always running, we have fournaces that we can connect with pipes, etc.

    Why can't we connect the fuel deposit of Small Generator to a pipe in order to keep our generator running?

     

    With this way, we can have 3 diferent ways to made energy, wind, sun and fuel.

    And for those who love house desing, with this generators, all the houses could be visually more clear.
