  • Disapearing Dead Animals + Snap Traps (AU Scourge)

We've had a few traps down, and chickens/1 boar/1 wolf trapped so far. But twice now, we've seen a dead animal (pig and wolf) in the trap, run up to it and it vanishes, along with the trap. They're just on grass near the house, about 1 building foundation size away (even 1 that was further away still vanished). Bit hard to keep making them with gears when they keep vanishing and decaying quickly (have to repair every 15-20mins). Its fun, just having a few troubles with it.

    Thankyou 🙂

i've heard from players that chickens despawn very quickly. Generally players ask if they do actually work as they come back and the trap is triggered but no dead animal. I've had it happen while standing there so i'm guessing there's a chance of no animal but it gets triggered.
I think having the ability to use a heart beat sensor gives players an idea that they can go out a little and come back after the notification and the animal will still be there.
I've not had issues when i used it but i stood there and waited.
