Furnaces/Refineries have to be "reset" occasionally

Every  so often, large furnaces and refineries will stop processing resources, even though the furnace/refinery shows flames.   The only way to restart them to processing is to shut them off and turn them back on.   Additional information -- Pipes are connected and I am VIP, taking advantage of the "no fuel" furnace feature.
