US Pure - vending machines spitting out scrap even with enough room in the machine to hold it. I had multiple machines in my shop show missing items from being purchased, but with no scrap in the machine. Items purchased were maybe 100-150 scrap each.

This is a known issue.
While your specific issue isn't exact, it appears to be part of the same problem.
