Slight Over punishment!!

So logged in today to find most of my base removed, all loot gone, no access to TC or the 2 loot boxes that remained due to Apparently having a foundation on the road!?!?!?

Note left saying:

Sorry about your base, I accidently removed it instead of the foundations. To explain, you are not allowed  

to build on the road as per server rules so I was trying to remove the main offending area. I have stocked

the TC with 'MATS' for you as an apology!!!

 

so to sum up, all loot gone, no access to TC, or boxes, Heli tower missing because I had a few foundations on the road, not to mention that all over the map on previous wipes people have walled off sections to make villages but I put a few foundations which didn't impede any of the Road. Is this for real??
