What's the difference between all the PVE servers?

I mainly want to know the difference between Survival PVE and PURE PVE. the reason I ask is bc, someone attacked me a few minutes ago in Survival PVE and I was wondering if that's allowed? (But now that I'm view the site, I'd also like to know what Pure PVE is?)

So whether I was on survival or pure, attacking other players is against the rules?

On the modded servers, player vs player damage is not enabled, so you won't take damage from other players. Players who are very new to the server don't always understand PvE and may shoot at others, until they figure it out -- it happens.

Griefing and harassment is against the rules, however.  If it's a case of a player engaging to purposefully harass you, then please tag an admin for the server in Discord or report a player and an admin will handle it.

umm you may want to check the server settings, because I was actually taking damage. I'm not talking about seeing red on the screen, I'm talking about going from 100 health down to the 40's or 50's. Trust me, I'm not mistaken about this, I wasn't even sure myself and is why I just stood there taking hits from this guy and then I saw that the green bar went from almost full to less than half! I KNOW I was taking damage. This was on the Survival server last night and only 3 other people were on. He was wearing from head to toe all blue and a hoody of the same colour.

@[SoTu] Roman That would be a scientist NPC. They're found patrolling junk piles or military tunnels.

ooh ok thank you. I haven't played this game since the experimental was just a few months old.
