ban for offensive imagerie

Recommended Posts

Hello I kindly feel a little bit offended and disincouraged after using a positive Symbole from my Religion. As learned on my travels in Tibet, there is a significant diffrence on how i used the Symbole for "long live with a lucky fortune" (Pinyin) and what is considered as an Offensive Image. i used the correct angels in the painting i made with the item called "Pattern Bomber" that is used as firecrackers. i kindly ask to lift the Ban i recived. kind regards bunka.

Thank you for appealing.

With the current cancel culture in the world, racism in all aspects of society is being closely scrutinized.  While we do understand that it still heavily permeates music, comedy, movies, and other media, it is something we do not feel is appropriate to have in our servers.

The image as such used by your account is not acceptable in any circumstance.

This is plainly stated on the server's loading screen before you enter.

Additionally, this is also stated on Facepunch's Terms of Service.

What a disappointment. It is quite clear that "cancel culture" is being practiced here against me and my religion. The swastika you interpreted, which is associated with xenophobia and not racism, differs visually and, above all, symbolically from the symbol I used. According to FacePunch's TOS, the symbol used, which is associated with my religious beliefs, I may use within the game. I do believe FacePunch differs from what i used and what you seem to think you saw, it seems to be so. Or would FacePunch try to ban most of SEA players for the reasen you just did. i do am solely responsible for what happens on my account. I do stand behind my action i did and i stand behind my beliefs. Apologies my English, as a Thai, i do not am Fluent in it. i utterly will have a lucky fortune and absolutly will not participate in your attempt of discrimination against myself and my not missused symbols of Peace.

While I appreciate that you believe the image you used was in line with your beliefs, it did not differ visually from a swastika, which you recognised it as, and as such is seen by the majority of the western world as a symbol of hate or racism and as such is not acceptable on any RustEZ server.
As you have linked back to me the facepunch ToS you will have read that facepunch also does not accept racism or xenophobia.
Thank you for appealing however at this time the ban will remain.
I wish you the best of luck in finding a server that is suitable for your playstyle.

The image used in the Firework, of which i have seen a screenshot, is identical in appearance to the modern swastika, and not in anyway different like you folks have claimed. The image of which is not acceptable on our servers under any circumstances.
The ban stands, and i am now locking this thread as there is nothing to gain from a back and forth on the subject. If you have any further concerns feel free to contact me directly.
