CypherXP Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 Idea is for players that want to engage in calling in attack heli signals can only do so within the bounds of a allowed zone (via a button inside the TC) so players that want to engage helis flag their TC to allow people to use heli signals within their build and helis are only allowed to damage such flagged builds attached to flagged TC (and all monuments so people can still call helis at launch site etc). All unflagged TC's should be immune to heli damage which would prevent heli griefing. So even if a player builds very close to someone and flags their tc, only their property gets smashed and not the neighbours property. Build in a timer or something so you can't unflag the TC before combat ends and voila? 1
BigDave Posted October 29 Report Posted October 29 This would likely be abused. Players could just build a heli tower with no damage toggled on. Build a heli signal throwing 1x1 base any distance away, throw signal there then teleport, drive or jog to the no damage tower and fight heli in your no damage toggled base. Summoned attack helis, unlike random spawns, will travel to the signal thrower wherever they go.
