The Great Reset Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 I received no warning that I was camping. Didn't even know that was a thing. Only reason I know I got banned for camping is my friend told me thats what it was. Mod said they warned me 3 times but I received 0 warning. I think they fat fingered my name and it didn't ping me.

You were console warned for camping launch after the PSA was sent out. You continued to stay there waiting for it to spawn. That was when the warning was issued. You were warned on 07/12/2023 12:58 PM Est for 2-3 TC rings of land around your base and requested you remove the excess. You were given 24 hours to comply but did not. An admin then removed them placing everything in your inventory. You were warned again on 03/16/2024 11:26 AM Est. For camping. A PSA was posted and instead of complying you were inside one of the buildings hiding & waiting for brad to spawn. I myself was witness to this and gave your warnings. When I issued that warning I made sure to put the following: "Monument camping is against server rules. This includes waiting in an area for loot/NPCs to respawn or logging off in a monument. If Brad is not there please leave and come back again another time. Please type /rules in chat to avoid future warnings or a server ban should you continue to camp launch. TY" on 12/29/2024 12:07 AM Est. You did less than half the damage to the Patrol heli and witnessed by an admin taking 4 out of the 5 crates. You were warned to check how many crates you are due before looting and explained the rules. Today (01/04/2025) I watched as you were camping launch. Giving you the benefit of doubt I posted our PSA for monument camping hoping it would encourage you to move along as you were aware of the server rules and have been warned before. I watched you move so noted that you were not AFK. I watched as you crouched towards the electrical box on the roof in what appeared to be an attempt to hide. It was obvious you were making no attempt at leaving launch and were continuing to camp. Your ban is justified as you were given more than ample opportunity to adhere to the server rules. As admins we do not enjoy removing players from our servers. This is why we give every chance for players to learn and play by the rules we all play by in order to remain a part of our community. You were given these chances and made a choice to ignore them. Your ban will remain in place. I wish you only the best of luck in your future gaming endeavors.

First, i'd like to clarify for you, that when issuing console warnings, admins are presented with a confirmation message letting them know that the warning in question has been delivered to the player it is being issued to. These messages display as a pop up on your screen in game that you cannot exit without clicking the "i understand" button at the bottom of the message. After reviewing the evidence collected by the admin team surrounding your infractions, you would have recieved 4 of these, and an additional one "not a warning" sent as a information to you when the admin team was forced to remove your excess tc's. Failure to read/understand these messages as they are recieved does not relieve you of your responsibility, and expectation to abide by the rules of the server which are applied consistently throughout our community, regardless of player status as vip/subscriber/regular member/amount of store purchases. Given the relatively low overall severity of your infractions, you were granted additional opportunities beyond where a ban would typically be placed, allowing you additional time to become familiar with the server rules, and continue to play as a rule abiding member of our community, however you continued to play and break rules in such a way that has significant impact on other members of the community who are attempting to enjoy their time with us, showing no remorse for those actions beyond your own ability to access the server, even now during the appeals process. At this point in time, the ban is justified, and will not be lifted. We wish you the best of luck finding a server that better fits your style of gameplay! -A3
The Great Reset Posted January 5 Author Report Posted January 5 1.) I'm trying to remember the TC incident you are mentioning here as it happened quite some time ago. All I remember then was logging in and the TC's in question were gone. The warning system you are mentioning is not as robust as you claim. There was a message when I logged in but it just explained that I had to many and they were removed. Just because you send someone 4 warnings as they are logged off doesn't mean the person is ignoring them it just means they are logged off and don't know that multiple messages are being sent. If I receive a pop up message I always abided by it. 2.) "You continued to play and break rules in such a way that has significant impact on other members of the community who are attempting to enjoy their time with us, showing no remorse for those actions beyond your own ability to access the server, even now during the appeals process." - This is extremely vague and I can only assume you are referencing the points made by @Northstarz. These points are well documented but are misleading and missing major context. I never broke any of the major rules that pop up as you join the server: No Raiding, No Stealing, No Killing. Hanging out at a monument for an undisclosed too long of period, or putting out 4 TC's instead of 3 isn't a major rule and in my opinion should not be something you ban someone for life over. My basic point in responding to this post is to inform you that your warning system is not what you think it is. You need @The Great Reset the person to give them an audible warning if you want to warn them. You can't expect players who are logged off to know that they are getting a warning until they log back in. Typing something in the general chat isn't a notifying them and expecting them to read a warning while they are logged off for a couple days isn't working. You clearly have a responsibility to back your follow admin's on this, I get that. @Northstarzclearly wanted me off the server and built up a case log from 2023 to make their point.
