Ban for Racism

Hello admins... I just got banned from the server because I jokingly typed a racist slur in the in-game chat. I have no intention for racism, it's just a joke to my friend and I'm terribly sorry for it. I will not do it again.

Sadly i didn't have the image/proof about it, you may found it in the chat log on JP server (I typed it on team chat, not global chat).
Here is what happened:

My friend just started to play Rust, and asked me in the chat: "Is there a way to customize you character?"
I reply: "No, you cannot."
He replied: "Damn, I really want to play character with a 'd word' (a guy)."
I reply: "Why tho? you just have a wonderful character creation." (for context: I want to play as a female character since the beginning)
I reply again: "Instead, I must endure myself with this 'n word' guy."
*banned*

I typed it as a joke to him, not anyone else (since I used to nudge him with that word).

All the conversation is typed on Bahasa Indonesia, so if you find it on the server log you might need to translate it on translator app. I didn't remove/add something about the conversation, and I didn't try to hide anything. Once again, I'm terribly sorry for my wrongful behavior. I hope you can unban my account on the server. Thanks

I just realized that the way I write my ban appeal may not look as genuinely apologetic. It's never been my intention from the beginning. I know that any kind of mistreatment toward other races/cultures is wrong and unacceptable. And my writings might not seem genuine because English is not my first language.

I've said that I used a racist slur as a joke. And that's my standing position, which is totally wrong. I understand that people should not use 'the word' towards others as a joke, and I agree on it. Yet, I did purposefully use it as a joke to my friend. That might have made me look like a person with no empathy. I'm really sorry for it. But I must declare that I don't support any kind of racism toward anyone, hopefully until the end of my life.

The reason why I use 'the word' as a joke to my friend is because we used it to each other as an inside joke. Not because we hate each other. It's the way we communicate with ourselves. We use those kinds of words for sharing love toward each other. I'm sorry that I forgot the place when doing so. I hope you can understand me better with this reply. It will not happen again. Thank you for your understanding.

With the current cancel culture in the world, racism in  all aspects of society is being closely scrutinized.  While we do understand that it still heavily permeates music, comedy, movies, and other media, it is something we do not feel is appropriate to have in our servers.

Words such as what you used, are not welcome in any context.

That being said, you will get a second chance. Just one.
The ban will be lifted, but it will remain on your record.  There will be no additional chances as this post should encourage you to change how you speak in our servers and to abide by the rules.

Take a few minutes before rejoining, and refresh yourself on the rules to avoid any chance of breaking them. If you are unclear on any of them, or aren't sure what is permitted, reach out to the staff and we'll be happy to clarify them for you.

No raiding, griefing or looting of any kind.

No mic or chat spam, player disrespect, politics, racism or harassment.

No camping loot rooms, monuments or any highly concentrated areas.

You may build in caves but you must ensure safe passage for other players.

No blocking water ways, building around monuments or large areas of unused land.
