Hi there, i hope you are well today.

I got kicked and banned from the server with the note that it was for raiding but i haven't raided anyone, im guessing that it was because i took stuff from an open base... im very sorry for this i assumed that if it was open then the person had gotten off as this was what it was like on a previous PVE server i had played, if a box was accessible then other could take it

im new to the server, i sincerely apologies if i did something wrong

Thank you for taking the time to submit an appeal for your recent ban.

Apologies for the delay on replying.

My question to you would have to be, how would you feel to log in and find your base had been looted by another player?

You accept the fact that you took stuff from an open base, that is a great start in understanding that you have done something wrong.

Our rules are listed in multiple places including the name of the server. I view the RustEZ servers to be a place to come to relax and get away from the PVP aspect of this game.

I have reviewed the evidence and compared it to your appeal and have decided I will not be lifting the ban for raiding. You were on the server for a total of 30 minutes and gained access to players bases via raiding techniques.

If you feel that my decision is unjust, you may request a team member of higher authority to review your appeal.

Yes I would be annoyed if the show was on the other foot, I genuinely didn't see it in the rules but have since gone back and have seen that it said 'no looting of any kind', I also didn't realise that building up in twig would be seen as raiding techniques so I apologies for that also, if I had been made aware at the time of the incident I would have given back anything I took for would have farmed it back. I apologise as when I had joined I had assumed it was the same as the other PVE servers that I had played.

I would love to have another person review if possible as a first time player receiving a permaban for a misunderstanding on my part, I have never been banned from any server and would never have intentionally done that if I had of realised or known that it was different form other PVE servers. I would love to be given a chance to play on the servers, I've played a lot of vanilla and was just looking to find a good PVE server and RustEZ had be recommended.

Hi Gia,

Thank you for taking the time to submit an appeal and for acknowledging the behaviour that led to your ban. 

You twigged into multiple players builds emptying two players of everything and were found recycling what you didn't want.  The accessible boxes that you mentioned were only accessible because you twigged into the builds, making them accessible.  Irrespective, if you didn't place something, leave it be, we don't run PvP servers or PvE servers with an end of wipe 'purge'.

Your actions were completely unacceptable. Raiding, stealing and griefing another players build will not be tolerated.  

That being said, you will get a second chance. Just one.

The ban will be lifted once 72 hours have passed, but it will remain on your record.

There will be no additional chances as this post should encourage you to change how you treat the belongings of others in our servers and to abide by the rules.

Take time now to reflect on better ways to add to our community rather than taking from it. Refresh yourself on the rules to avoid any chance of breaking them. If you are unclear on any of them, or aren't sure what is permitted, reach out to the staff and we'll be happy to clarify them for you.

• No raiding, griefing or looting of any kind.
• No mic or chat spam, player disrespect, politics, racism or harassment.
• No camping loot rooms, monuments or any highly concentrated areas.
• You may build in caves but you must ensure safe passage for other players.
• No blocking water ways, building around monuments or large areas of unused land.
