CONFESSION: i took an mp5 from a random airdrop the guy said he called it but it was out in the open at no base and there was 4 people there so i took one gun which was mp5 out of the air drop later on i was gonna built next to someone who was online and borrowed 500 wood from a lit furnace to make a workbench which i was gonna replace after - there was no complaint from my neighbour about this

You had been warned twice already by 2 different admins about the rules of the server. Stealing is stealing. Rules are enforced so all can enjoy what RustEZ has to offer and stealing, griefing is not tolerated.

i.e. that is admin abuse

 

and i call for all logs and evidence to be posted here so  RustEZ owners can scrutinise the evidence and prove that this admin has been false claims to facilitate admin abuse

Hi Havoc,

You've had an eventful wipe day/evening, reminds me of my PvP days.

Welcome to RustEZ PvE.  I appreciate your posts but I need a little more information before considering your ban appeal.  My primary concern is how have you learned from your mistakes if your solution to any negative feedback is player harassment?

You had an informal ingame voice conversation with AnarchyVII about what is defined as stealing regarding drops and event crates, his internet drops, disconnects and you looted his sleeping body.  You later admitted to stealing an MP5 from said ‘at the time deemed hypothetical’ discussion.  xbluelambb then had a formal in game voice conversation with you regarding stealing.

 

Your second interaction for looting the furnace was unfortunately rather dramatic, instead of having a formal voice conversation with anarchy you decided to blew up global chat arguing over the nuances of theft and that you planned on returning your ill-gotten gains… you were advised in chat from multiple players and admins (including myself) to read the rules but you continued… you were then kicked.

If you took something from another player that doesn't belong to you, it's stealing.  Getting caught and then offering to return the stolen items doesn't negate the initial act of stealing.

 

Whilst in the process of drafting up a formal written warning as you weren’t interested in talking, you reconnected and called Anarchy a “cunt”.  Directly calling anyone a profanity in global chat is considered player harassment, no single incident (other than racism) will get you insta-banned.  Calling an admin a ‘cunt’ whilst they’re explaining your past theft and why theft is against the rules… is a fantastic way to receive a formal warning.

At this point a ban was issued due to the culmination of back-to-back rule breaking as you showed no interest in following the rules and being a contributing member of the community. 

 

After your in game ban you started posting on the general/help discord, joined two different voice discords swearing and abusing players from other RustEZ servers resulting in a 7 day timeout for harassment.  You then doubled down and threatened an unrelated player via DM who doesn’t play on AU Pure continuing the harassment.

 

What exactly are you appealing? Your multiple thefts, or multiple player harassment incidents against those who were trying to help you?  If your intention is to get into arguments with players and call them cunts… I suggest looking for a server better suited to your playstyle.  Ultimately the sum of your actions more than warranted a ban.

 

Here are my incident notes for your reference:

INCIDENT 1: Anarchy - Stealing from another player’s personal airdrop.  Suspected but not investigated, later you confirmed yourself that you stole an MP5.
INCIDENT 2 (WARNED): Blue - Stealing from a sleeping/disconnected player.  Ingame voice conversation warning + rule clarification.
INCIDENT 3 (WARNED): Anarchy - Stealing from a players refinery. Global chat blowup.  Players and admins advised to read the /rules again.  You continued to be aggressive and were kicked reminding you to read the /rules.
INCIDENT 4 (BANNED): Anarchy - Player Abuse - Reconnected to the server and called anarchy a "cunt" in global text chat whilst he was attempting to talk to you in local voice discussing your prior theft.

(Post in game BAN / no formal action taken at this time)
INCIDENT 5: Kritter – Help+General Discord Posts - confesses to past thefts.  Continues player harassment that Anarchy is admin abusing vs posting a help ticket as advised (Sweet Tooth + ExeQtd).
INCIDENT 6: JediJess - Joins Scourge Discord VC - advised how to request a formal appeal, continues to rant about Anarchy and continue hostilities.
INCIDENT 7: JediDrip - Joins Elysium Discord VC - advised (again) how to request a formal appeal, is abusive and swearing to players - 7 day discord timeout issued.
INCIDENT 8: Catatonic - Elysium Player reports Havoc to Catatonic of DM harassment that they timed out havoc (the person in question is a player / not an admin / they do not have the ability to).

 

My current hypothesis… after ~7 hours of playing rust on wipe day you were exhausted which led to extremely poor decision in the early hours of Saturday morning.

 

Now knowing the reasons for your interactions leading up to your ban and post ban interactions, which are more concerning for me, can you please inform me how you have adjusted your playstyle so we won’t have a repeat?
