  1. To clear things up, I am NOT suggesting making Building for staff only. it should be for everyone, But there needs to be a limit.
  2. I agree, There could be cool things made on the server. But being in the middle of the map with a huge base especially a spot where players are a lot or flying over a lot just makes them lag. There have been users including myself who would crash into a base that's not rendered yet because of how big it is. And I agree, The 300+ Compost farm is uncalled for 100%. I get Death wants to let people build freely but a lot of good dedicated people are leaving because of it and tbh, It's understandable. From what I've heard this isn't the first time something for limits has been made but figured why not try. These are good servers but Rust is already unoptimized, Allowing people to build like that just ruins it. People are tired of losing their helis, Lagging nonstop exc. Limits need to be made otherwise, The servers are just goin to fill with trolls and the good people are going to leave. If you (Death) don't wish to put ALL limits I said I get that, But at least foundation limit or Compost limit something to help. Otherwise people will just keep leaving.
  3. I understand where you're coming from and while I understand not all are good, Figured worth the shot to see what people thought.
  4. That's why I stated if some people didn't want to use it then they don't have too, For users who have played for a long time it don't think it would spoil anything. I do Thank you for your opinion though.
  5. After opinions, I would like to add that the main reason this suggestion was made was due to Real Life things. People won't always have the time to grind like others do. So would give them an easier start than normal.
  6. After playing on RustEZ for so long, I have seen the good and bad. One of the main issues I see the most is Server lag due to these super big bases which aren't called for. While I do believe people should be able to build freely, I also believe in doing what's right for everyone rather than the certain few. Here is what I suggest below. Foundation limit: 50-75 PER BASE Height limit: 15-20 6 bases PER PLAYER or 16 per team Team if it's a big team. 20-25 Sprinklers per player 40-50 lights per base 30 Pictures Twig must be upgraded to at least Wood Why? Because users having super big bases causes lag and well issues for everyone else. While it's not ALWAYS the bases being the issue, It still plays a major part in the servers performance. I understand some people will have an issue with this, But something you need to think about is, Do you want the server to run better or do you just want to build super big bases cause you can? If there was a need for them then I'd understand but there are people with 1-3 people in groups making HUGE bases which are uncalled for and ruin people's enjoyment just for the few to have what they want. If this suggestion doesn't pass, It is what it is. But I do ask that you think hard about it before commenting. Thank you for taking the time to read, I will be frequently watching this to reply to any comments / questions.
  7. Hello, I am a frequent RustEZ player and have played for quite a while. I've recently seen this mod that allows you to place things inside and they don't wipe and figured it may be good to see on RustEZ. Bank Mod Default Size: 18 VIP Size: 30 When it comes to ammo, explosives, Scrap and things like that people would use on the next wipe. Having the bank inventory it will allow you to safely store things for next wipe so they don't have to grind as much. While some players may see it as too easy, Others will see it to be good so would just be up to that player to store things or not. If this mod was to be accepted, I would ask that anything able to be bought from the RustEZ store become restricted when trying to put them into the Bank for wipe. Pumpjacks, Test Gens, Recyclers, Costumes (From store) and other related items should be unable to place in bank. This would cause users to pick up their PJs and store them so they don't have to pay for them which would take away from the Income RustEZ gains to keep these servers up and running. This is merely a suggestion that I have thought about and talked to a few within Staff as well as normal players and seemed to get good opinions so figured I'd make the suggestion official. I will try to reply when I can with any questions relating to this Mod / Suggestion.
  8. No, This is something that was mentioned Could become a possible thing. So the Forum is to get Supporters to show that more of Scourge PvE users would rather keep the Transit rather than have horses/boats.
  9. This is for [US] Scourge PvE only. Hello, I would like to start this by saying this is NOT an Official Update that will be happening but rather one being spoke of. It was stated possibly removing Tunnels in order to bring back Horses and Boats. While we understand having those things helps users who cannot fly, Having the tunnel system gives great Advantages and pros rather than cons. With the Tunnel System we have the Ability to be able to gain loot faster, Transportation through the entire map, Fun for groups or even Solo. Many different users Across the PvE server give rides via Land or Air to users who are unable to control the Helicopters within the server and have no problem helping someone in need. We ask that you consider what the Tunnel removal impacts as far as things to do outside of Oil or Cargo and consider Supporting the Forum. While I understand this wasn't official, It is smart to give our opinions while we have a chance rather than when it's too late and already in place. To show your support please Like the Forum and Commenting doesn't hurt! Thank you all for taking the time to read this. Hope to see you around the server. | This is NOT an Official Update |
