i think adding a decay upkeep would be a good idea. make it less then default but still have to work to maintain. this would eliminate the HUGE buildings that cause problems.

yes having same issue. seems to be only around 50% or less yield compared to the machine recycler.

i noticed pipes, signs, springs, gears, etc not giving near enough.

oh and i did notice you dont get near as much scrap using the /rec command for items. its better to use the machine.

would like to see scrap for sale in your store. maybe like 3K or 5K that way can go on a shopping spree at the vending machines.

i made this solo and is probably the biggest base i've made to date. it includes public access: store, large water collector, small water collector, tier 3 workbench, repair table, research table, person to person trade station, and a box of free stuff.

there are 2 wings north and south.

on the north wing is a building nestled into 3 large stone formations. has winding stairs to the top and a search light.

just inside the main entrance door of the south wing is a caged dungeon with 2 traps surrounding to catch the player off guard (well if it were pvp turrets have no ammo). the structure has multiple floors with many doors and secured chests behind separate doors. 2 turrets stand guard on the south side round tower. a sniper tower is in the rear and reaches 6 floors.  a large furnace and small oil refinery are located inside the surrounding structure.
