  2. We’re definitely not against convoy bases and really appreciate the ones your team builds and leave open for everyone to use. We’re just trying to add a bit more risk to the reward, not destroy convoy bases. It’d be cool to occasionally see a Nightmare or even Hard convoy do some real damage like maybe take out a wall or two, or even a turret. Right now I’ve seen Nightmare convoys get solo’d without a single death or any base damage, and I’ve been watching every convoy that gets engaged while im on As for your suggestions: Lowering loot – I think this would just make people stop doing the event. Look at how often the train gets taken compared to convoys right now. Turret changes – Gonna skip this one. Raul likes how they are, so no nerfs there. Rockets – NPCs already have rockets and will target bases, but they just get shredded by turrets before they can do much. APC targeting bases – I’d love to see this added, I’ll talk to Raul and see if it’s possible. Covering fire – NPCs technically do this, but again, instantly killed by turrets. The main changes we’ve been pushing really only affect Nightmare convoys. We just want them to feel more like a group activity, instead of something that can be cleared easily with turrets and smart line of sight tactics. Thanks again for the suggestions and feedback.   6. the catapult instant kills you on launching a person balista with hammerhead bolt doesnt do damage on the fire but where you land/stop the hammerhead does 100 damage

  8. Did some testing comparing what we used to farm (cloth/hemp) to orchids—even at a 2:1 scrap ratio. Both orchids and hemp have an average grow time of about 2 hours with 2G4Y genetics, and each produces around 65–70 per plant depending on conditions. At its worst, orchids generate roughly 1170 scrap per planter (at a 1:2 ratio). At its best, hemp produces about 79 scrap per planter (at an 80:10 ratio). So, one orchid planter is worth about 15 hemp planters in terms of scrap output. I think a cap of 150 orchid planters TOPS would be reasonable—that still comes out to around 175k scrap every 2 hours. I can only speak from experience on Scourge, but I’ve talked to a few Survival players and things seem quite different over there. Another idea would be to bring sunflowers, roses, and hemp more in line with orchids in terms of scrap value. That would give players more viable farming options, instead of everyone growing just one thing. Right now, it feels like a race to buy out all the Ranch stock right at reset, which leaves players who can’t be on at that time at a disadvantage. Also, orchids put a heavy load on server resources compared to other plants—just watering alone takes 4x as much. If other plants were made more rewarding, it could encourage more diverse farming and reduce overall strain on the server.
  9. I’m on board with the orchid nerf, it makes sense to try and slow down how fast people can stack up net worth with all this inflation. But I really think RustEZ should also set a limit on planter boxes. Like, if I’m running a 100-planter farm now, next wipe I’ll just build 130 to make up for the nerf. That kind of defeats the purpose and just adds more strain on the server with extra entities.

  11. After 3 years, I’ve got about $3 mil net worth—no crazy farms, no wipe-to-wipe grind. Just vibing and playing my own pace.

  13. I've been playing on US Sourge for 3 years now, and the meta has always been dominated by massive hemp (now orchid) farms and factories crafting Explosives. Here are a few ideas I have floating around, but I’m not sure how they might fit into the current server dynamics: Limit the number of plots We could cap the number of plots a player can have to reduce the extreme farm setups that take up a lot of server resources and create imbalance. Limit the number of Bee Hives Similar to the plot limit, limiting the number of bee hives per player would encourage a more balanced economy and reduce the over-reliance on automated resources. Adjust Explosives Market Lower the buying price of Explosives. This would make it less profitable to mass-produce Explosives and encourage more diverse strategies for making scrap and trading. Increase prices of other items Raising the buying prices for other items would create a better variety of ways to earn NW (Net Worth) and encourage players to diversify their approach to farming and trading. New ways to generate Scrap We could explore new ways to earn scrap outside of traditional farming methods. One idea is to buff horses and fishing, while also limiting how many each player can own to prevent mass accumulation. Reconsider Orchids Sadly, I think orchids need to go. While they are currently the best method of earning scrap, they require four times the water usage compared to other plants, which is too taxing on server performance, especially with the current state of mega-farms.
