I enjoyed being able to place 40-50k of wood in campfires around my base. it was great for light and for charcoal farming. Now I can only add 10k at a time.
I am not worried about net worth, I just rather buy the wood than cut trees down.
I love when someone tells my why I play rust, as if I have to play it in their idea of the game. I like building my base and screwing around. I don't like grinding for wood or clear cutting the land. I would like a lumberyard to compliment the quarry system.
The wood to buy in the outpost only lasts some weekend nights less than 5 minutes. And many nights only 20 or 30 minutes before the wood sells out.
So at 11:00 pm my time I need to line up but that is kind of late and it does not help off times. I think the speed that it goes should show a need. I like it so I don't cut trees and others. I enjoy the scenery much better with the trees,
I had just walked past it and then gone and left a loot bag with what it was working on.
No helicopter, nothing the one next to it was fine.
Just gone.
On Monday night I refilled all my campfires with wood I bought at the Outpost. Tuesday when I logged in the campfires within public reach were completely emptied no charcoal no wood, no nothing.
I was told this was due to a lack of network IDs? I guess I don't understand.
why didn't they all empty out and why none out of public reach were emptied?
I was saying if trees were covered by where your building privilege extends no one would have to enforce it and it would be relatively tight to your base.
Don't see chickens or nodes as the same as a forest and I think you can make what you want part of the game. Just my thoughts.
For the most part being nice in on most RUST servers is not part of the game, but yet I think nice is a big part of the culture on this server. Cutting ever single tree down is not being nice or a good neighbor in my very limited opinion.
I go to far island to get away and over the weekend I get a new neighbor that clear cuts ever tree in what was once a forest. Now a treeless field.
I would like to suggest that trees are subject to the same rules as building, if you cant build there you cant cut the trees.
It seems I take a step and start lagging like I am out of sync. I could be on two hours or 15 minutes. In an area I have for hours working on my base. Bang I am start lagging and it will only stop after exiting rust and restarting. But the rest of the time no problems. In the old days I would have lag come and go. But I rarely lagged even then. Is there a setting I should check out?
Thanks death I am good you don't have to throw anything my way, I was just trying to figure it out. I have plenty.
Thank you guys for all your help.
Death thanks again you do a great job.
Yeah except that was excess I was thinking you meant sold to others in the game.
A box full would be 2,250 credits
My Large Wood box is also missing; it should be in the missing slot on these shelves. It had the same skin as the one above the open slot.
In my base on the bottom shelf I had stacked on savaged selves two full boxes of Sulfur. I logged in yesterday and one is gone. I cant explain it: did I sleep play and destroy it? Although shouldn't the box be in my inventory?
