  1. And the minute your temp ban was removed, you came straight to our base and started spamming the code lock and firing arrows at the base itself. Seems like a pretty straightforward case of harassment to me dude. Edit: This went on uninterrupted for several minutes, we're not talking about a couple code presses or a few arrows here.
  2. You were still firing arrows at us even after he gave his warning. Not to mention this gem...
  3. Hello all, My name is Stryker_Ben, and I am based in Pure! My real name is Ben, and I am a male 21 year old college student/part-time retail associate. I am ancestrally from Taiwan! I live in Northern California, previously lived in So-Cal, the Midwest, Manhattan and Taiwan. I am currently studying Animal Science, with a specialization in Animal Behavior. I've previously worked in law enforcement, medical services, SAT Writing prep, box moving and flyer handing. I'm a big fan of gaming as a whole. I started off with Ace Combat (4+5) as a middle schooler, then Left 4 Dead in my early high school years, moved to Company of Heroes, played a lot of Minecraft and few thousands of hours of XCOM (1+2), Starcraft II (Including Expansions) and Total War (Shogun II/Warhammer). I started playing Rust in mid August. I was taken aback by how immersive the game was and the excellent community I found in RustEZ. Since then, I've spent most of my free time playing here. Currently Co-Leading the Scrapguard [SG] Clan in Pure. I really, really like the Kinder's Cowboy Queso from Costco. Half my fridge is literally filled with tubs of that stuff. I can make a pretty damn good bagel melt. According to my friends and family, my glasses belong in the last century. I love playing games like Fibbage, Quiplash and Earwax. So yeah, that's a little bit about me. I look forward to continue being an active part of this community!
  4. Combo methods of destroying Brad. 2 Rockets, 1 C4: Use the Rockets to draw brad's attention, apply C4 at close range. Pros: Hybrid method of elimination, allows for situational usage, uses resources more efficiently. Cons: If you're skilled in either ranged or close elimination, and are inexperienced in the other, there is a fairly high chance of derping. 2 Satchel Charges, 1 C4: Apply at close range, or from above, prepare extra satchel charges as a contingency. (Satchel Charges have shit reliability.) Pros: Saves resources. Cons: You have to apply explosives onto the tank thrice. This is seriously pushing your luck, even with experience and an excellent connection. Stryker and Maca's Bradley Killing Loadout 1. Explosives for Brad 2. Weapon with a Flashlight (for baiting and illumination) 3. Pickaxe (For harvesting Brad's flesh) 4. Medsticks (In case Brad's coax tickles you) 5. Extra food and water (in case you have to camp for a while (waiting for day/night or for brad to move)) 6. Clothes and Armor (Geared towards ballistics protection). Helmet and candle hat are interchangeable.
  5. Curious question: How large were the maps for the last two wipes? (Excluding this one ofc)
  6. Seeing as the poll was shifting towards keeping BPs, I was wondering if anyone had an argument for the retention of Blueprints. I'm genuinely interested in hearing the interests and motivations of the majority regarding this.
  7. I would like to encourage the revisiting of this poll during the next wipe, no matter how the result goes. I feel like having first hand experience with how bp wipe (or lack of one) affects overall gameplay, will establish personal preferences and may allow for a more enlightened vote.
  8. Hey there. I had heard on Pure PVE Chat that blueprint knowledge would be carried over in between wipes, and I have to say that I am not a fan of this concept. I believe that doing so would go against the very belief of PVE as it will make the game much easier over time and remove any semblance of a challenge. Indeed, those who had teched up well during this wipe will be at an innate advantage in the subsequent wipes, as they will have no need to go trading or scavenging for blueprints, making large monuments effectively obsolete. I can also see the sense of trade and community that was established during this wipe to gradually decrease, as more and more players grab all the blueprints they need/want and don't feel motivated to trade with others for such knowledge. I can also see the value of scrap depreciating heavily, as less and less people require it to perform their research. Resentment may grow towards individuals and groups that tech up rapidly and maintain such an advantage throughout wipes. Overall, I see a lot of negatives and not a lot of positives. I would like to suggest the idea of a blueprints wiping every month, same time as world wipe. You'd basically just be looking at a neuralyzer and forgetting how to make everything. You would have to start from the ground up. Everyone would have an equal (dis)advantage. In a sense, it would be... fair. Thank you for listening to my opinion on the matter, and thank you for all the hard work put into the server.
