  1. Yo, Is there a daily manual or automatic server restart, or not? I've noticed the server restarting several times at different hours—today at 6:11 AM, and sometimes around 7:00 or 7:30 AM. Thanks! EDIT : I got my answer. There is an automatic restart at 7:00 AM CEST, but it is started manually when there is an update, like today. It took place at 6:10 AM! Thanks, Death.

  2. Yo, I understand the concerns from players who work, have families, or simply can't log in every day. But I think there is another side of this discussion that is worth considering. Pure has around 300 players coming through the server every day, roughly 50 of them being new players, and around 880 hours of playtime per day on average. Activity is obviously much higher at the beginning of a wipe and gradually decreases as the wipe progresses. Yet the current poll has only 125 votes. So my question is simply: what about everyone who didn't vote? I'm not saying that the people who didn't vote are necessarily for decay. They could be against it, in favor of it, or simply not care. We just don't know. That's why I don't think 125 votes can automatically be considered a perfect representation of the entire Pure community. There is also something else I find important: the server's own description says that decay is active at a low rate specifically to discourage huge bases. I don't think decay should be about punishing casual players or forcing everyone to log in every day. If someone is actively playing and wants to maintain a huge base, build massive decorations, or spend their wipe building, that's completely fine. The problem, in my opinion, is what happens when those players stop playing. A huge abandoned base can remain on the map for a very long time, even though nobody is using it anymore. Meanwhile, new players continue joining the server and building their own bases. Over time, the map becomes increasingly cluttered with structures that are no longer serving any purpose. That's what I believe decay should address: abandoned bases, not active players. And that's why I think a reduced upkeep/decay rate could actually be a very reasonable compromise. Casual players would still have plenty of time to come back and maintain their base, while genuinely abandoned bases would eventually disappear. For me, this isn't about choosing between "casual players" and "hardcore players." It's about finding a balance that works for both — while keeping the map healthy and leaving room for the new players who are joining Pure every day. I don't think decay is the enemy here. I think the real question is simply: what is the right decay rate?
  3. Yo, I feel like the more time goes by and the closer we get to the wipe, the more it seems like the writing is on the wall
  4. Yo, I’ve seen players here and there putting out boxes offering free stuff, but actually, you can’t access them. You need to put a code lock on the box and let the other players know the code. I didn’t know that either until MrJack taught me!
  5. Yo, I couldn’t find anything about it in the FAQ. How does “Rank” work on the website, and how do you rank up? Is there any information somewhere explaining how this works, and also how the badges work? Thanks!
  6. Hi everybody! The decay is a good thing. It has helped somewhat to destroy the bases of some players who abandon the wipe after just a few days of playing. This keeps the map healthier and less cluttered with useless bases. EDIT : These #&*! huge bases where you wonder what they’re even for, and especially what’s inside them besides empty space. But of course, everyone is free to play however they want.. The problem is when you’re flying around in a helicopter and come across a whole row of bases — my PC just can’t handle it anymore, and a crash is almost guaranteed! At this stage of the wipe, it’s not a big deal, but at the beginning, 2,250 scrap really hurts! Even when you walk through there, it lags just like in AA11! Yes to 100% decay! I’m all for it, and I’ll shout it loud and clear!
