  1. I appreciate that in principal Death, but there are a lot of gray areas where something can be seen as very offensive to a small group of people without crossing a line, such as the I Bang Jewish Chicks person (or whatever their name was) Not necessarily hatred or racism, but still offensive to many.
  2. Thanks for listening Death. I really love having an option to do raids without having to worry about being PVPed to death in the middle. I am also enjoying a PVE Day PVP night server I am goofing around on.
  3. People have different tolerance levels and don't often speak out. I have asked, several times, for clarifications on the rules for names for the server and haven't been given any, but we have some people with some fairly offensive names that I would much rather just ignore instead of making a stink about. It can be incidental as well as in the "32 CHARACTERS" name guy last week or two ago spamming constantly all the emote commands at once in chat so people couldn't even chat. There was no admin on (I think maybe a new admin was on, but with no ability to do anything?) If not, it isn't going to stop me from coming, it would just be nice is all
  4. The only concern I could see with that, is what if I don't want every part of my base upgraded the same?
  5. I've been spending a lot of time on another PVE/PVP server. There are a couple of things they do that really bring the fun for me. I would much rather be on RustEZ though Starting with the big ones and moving down 1. Your bases are protected, automatically from damage, as long as you've logged in every 24 hours. If you don't log in, you can be raided. - This includes doing damage yourself, so it requires the addition of the /remove tool I believe. They balanced this by costing a small amount of resources to remove something in order to get the refund. - You also can't remove something you didn't place, even if you have TC. - The length of time can be changed - when you try to damage a building it tells you if it's protected or not 2. There is no revive option and your backpack drops when you do (VIP have access to something called "bank" which doesn't drop, but I haven't figured signed up yet) - this adds to the 'real' feel of PVP with the balance of not being pwnd by newbs constantly 3. They have a /town teleport in addition to your other one, makes a nice central area for people to build also it's a safe zone and no one can loot or hurt you there. 4. Their currency lets you buy equipment (this would be nice but not really needed, and you couldn't buy the important resources like scrap or sulfer) - It is much more difficult to get scrap on this server, which helps balance out. They do not have the scrap vendor available to help keep it that way. 5. They have large gray translucent bubbles over the PVP zones (helps to avoid bad stuff) 6. Vote system for skipping night (this one I could take or leave, I don't mind the night, but it is pretty neat to be able to skip it) 7. They have a quest system to earn more points 8. Increased airdrop loot tables There are constantly 40-80 people on this server, and if they organized a bit better and had a website, they could be doing very well. I think RustEZ could benefit from options like these (#1 being the most important to me, as this is a big thing I love doing in PVP but enjoy the less-stress environment of PVE) Not sure how to know if these ideas are being considered or not, but I would love to chat more about it if anyone wants to. Also I can link the server if you want to come see it. thank you for listening!
  6. I would like to see this as well. There are people with user names that are offensive and/or are players who are rude and I would love to be able to ignore just them. Not sure if this is possible
  7. I would be done for more zombies over all, and I'm not sure what is possible, but maybe an event like military tunnels but flooded with zombies instead.
  8. my $0.02 that no one asked for, anything that can seriously affect the economy (such as pumpjacks) should be paid for per wipe to keep revenue churning to support the servers. The fact that VIP isn't already a subscription model is extremely generous. I think tiered VIP could be good though. Here are a few thoughts, I am sure some aren't even possible but I don't know whats possible and what isn't. • Faster leveling of skills (not sure if that's possible) Maybe starting at a higher skill level instead • Starting with upgraded armor and clothes • Maybe a starting "welcome pack" each wipe with some basics (Rusty servers does this) • There is an addon that allows you remove walls and get the materials back instead of destroying them, that might be cool • Better stack sizes (maybe not back to what they were, but slightly better would be nice) • Personal boats • Lower decay rate or cost • Ability to sort bags, storage, and backpacks • Easy upgrade system for building (such as Enhanced Hammer) • Faster recycle time • No fuel needed on more items (lights, pumpkins, snow machine, fog machine, etc) May have some impact on performance though) • two words: Portal Guns • Lock out resource locations (quarry) for short time such as one hour per day • Portable repair • Portable workstation (once built in game) could be tiered with VIP levels. • Skip first night each login • Better interface for vending machines Just some ideas off the top of my head.
