  1. Server: US Scourge Issue: When a player (TopGun) with VIP started smelting sulfur in his small furnaces and metal in his large furnace he was noticing that no charcoal was being produced even though he had wood in it. I can confirm that although it smelted 100 sulfur in each furnace no charcoal was being made even though there should have been at least one in each after that much time. The same occurred with the metal in the large furnace.
  2. I lost the original landing and made something a little better to replace it. When I run the event again people are going to need to clear a little more to make it to the landing this time. And a new starting location as well for more speed and a better line. Uh oh...
  3. Hey everyone! I'm just here to promote my first event for the wipe which will be held today at 8pm EST for the first time. Come take on the high flying challenge that is sure to get you up and out of your seat. The event is OUT OF CONTROL. The player who can launch their car the furthest over my big air jump will receive some great prizes as well as the second and third furthest jump. The rules are simple: A player is given up to TWO attempts to clear the takeoff and land in the play area below. The second attempt will only be used when a player cannot launch their car successfully on the first attempt. The jump distance will be calculated where the wheels of the car have impacted within the game area at the first point of contact. Continuing forward by hitting the gas after landing or flipping your car will not improve your jump distance if you landed wheels first. Prizes: First Place - You will win a Car that can be used on Scourge for the rest of the wipe plus a little something extra. Second Place - You will win 5 Supply Signals. Third Place - You will win 2 Supply Signals. More Updates To Come!
  4. I'm somewhat hoping the map choice for next wipe will help correct this problem by providing a lot of good real estate all over the map that people would want to build on. I'm also going to be spending time trying to build another town away from Pookie to split the population a little more so we don't get everything built around there. Maybe some other central hubs in different locations can also help with spreading people out around the map.
  5. The time has come and the preparations have been made... Escape Valentine's Prison A new event will be coming this Friday to the US Scourge server where teams of 5 will compete to see if they can't leave through the prison gates within the time limit. Players will not only be challenged with surviving the dangers within the walls but also completing puzzles which will lead to clues on how to escape. Will you succeed where others have failed? Will you taste sweet freedom or will you be doomed to haunt the grounds as many have before you? Some of the rules: Players who enter the event can choose to have a team ready before it begins or will be assigned a team after everyone has joined. Each team will have 15 minutes to escape. The remaining players on a team will "win" when at least one member opens and escapes out the locked gate. A team will lose when they have not escaped before the gates close, preventing them from completing the game. There are hints and codelock numbers for the final gate scattered around the prison as well as gear upgrades which will help your team progress. Winning Conditions: I have decided the best way to determine prizes for this event will be based on total time taken for successful teams which are able to escape. If there is no successful team by the end of the event the team that progressed furthest and provides myself with the most code fragments will be considered the winner. Prizes: TBD UPDATE 2/21: I have finished all of the puzzles with the help of a few testers this week and tweaked the timing of the event to allow for a better experience. I would like to personally thank Jacktapper, Smo, Mackinnon, Ozzen and Crystallove for helping get this prepared for Friday. I am in the process of finishing the last hints and have all of the other items prepped and ready to go.
  6. You came on the server and found a public heli base that someone spent time to make and decided to codelock the owner out of the building and not leave when they asked you to. Then when I gave you both the option to just continue to play and not harass or antagonize people you decided to not take that opportunity and instead found the discord link. Once in there your friend continued with his racist bit to the coldest reception I've ever seen. No one was laughing, no one was impressed or having a good time. Once again neither of you got the hint. I muted your friend after he just couldn't control himself any longer and started spitting out racial slurs. Then you continued to ask questions about what you could and couldn't build because you really couldn't figure out your concept is not allowed on this server. But if you believe I am totally out of the loop and absolutely none of this is correct, then please feel free to appeal your ban.
  7. Hi Everyone, I know people have been getting a little antsy to get started on some events now that we're in the swing of things for this wipe and we would like to provide a little entertainment in the form of a game that was definitely a fan favorite from the previous wipe... KNOCKING ON DEATH'S DOOR! This time around it will be 12 players competing for the top 3 spots and the goodies rewarded for making it that far. The Rules: The rules for the event are simple... The first 12 people to come into the event using the /event command and successfully grab a seat will be able to play that day. Once all of the seats have been filled we will start the game. During the game we will go in order and have players select a number 1-50 (that remains, of course) until everyone has been "knocked out" except for the final player. You are "knocked out" when the door behind you opens when another player or yourself picks your door lever. There will be up to 3 rounds of play with 12 people each (depending on total people participating). Players who win a round and win a $5 store credit cannot play another round. Prizes: 1st Place - $5 store credit to RustEZ.com 2nd Place - 5 Supply Signals 3rd Place - 2 Supply Signals Good luck and I look forward to seeing who will remain tomorrow night! Please feel free to ask any questions in the forums or when you see me online on Scourge and I will do my best to answer them all. Thanks guys!

  9. Nailed It! Tournament As you may be able to see from the sign in front of the game, the player would normally be looking to shoot as many zombies as they can with 3 shots from a nail gun on 3 spinning wheels that have 4 pookie bears, 3 zombies and 1 seven per wheel. If a player hits a pookie bear they would normally lose their bet and would need to bet again to play. Because it is a tournament, these rules are changed slightly to allow for scoring. The modified rules for tournament play are as follows: A point system is in place: Zombies = 1 point, Sevens = 2 points, Pookies = -1 point. Players will be playing against an opponent for each round. One player will shoot 3 shots, points will be totaled and then the next player will shoot to decide the outcome. If both players have equal points at the end of the round a tie-breaker round will be played. Depending on the player count the wheels on the inside of the casino will be used to determine first round byes in order to even brackets moving forward. The finals of the tournament will be a best of 3 showdown. BONUS: The jackpot prize of hitting three 7s is still available during tournament play. If any player manages to hit the jackpot it will be paid out at the end of the tournament with my top 3 prizes. I can provide food to anyone who comes and will be providing a special prize to the winner of the tournament and additional prizes to the 2nd and 3rd place players. Even after the event is over I will continue to run games and allow bets for as long as there is interest. And I guess I'll have to roll out the red carpet for this special occasion...
